Nice Coconutz mate, looking forward to seeing them grow out. I love starting from seed, it's much more fulfilling to me as a gardener to do that rather than cuttings.

Just wanted to query my feed EC at the moment. I'm currently mid week 3 of 12/12 and everythings going sweet. Just got rid of the fungus gnats with the neem so well chuffed. Anyhow, I've been giving them feeds of 1.4 up to 1.8, with an average of about 1.6. Run off is around 1.2, plants look 100%, no signs of deficiencies/toxicity etc. Based on this, I don't feel like I should be changing my setup. If I'm feeding them 1.6-1.8 EC daily, and getting 1.2 run off, that just means they're chomping the food and keep at it yeah?

I don't want to push 'em too hard too soon, they look too happy :)

How do you even get 1.6-1.8ec? I start out with .3ec well water and also add protekt, dripclean,sm90,epsom and ph down to the 6/9 and come up with 1.3ec max.

You dont want them to be dark at all.
Take a look at the light colored leaves on the bottom of the ICMag page.
Backing off too quickly will cause a drop in osmotic pressure and the leaves will yellow.
Its best to slowly adjust the cocos ec.

@ stoned40yrs, my tap water is near enough 0EC. 6/9 at full rate gives me about 1.6EC. I add Si, Mg and humic acid, which moves it a point up. Then I dilute this down to what I want. Generally I'm diluting at least to a 75%, closer to 1.2-1.4EC

@ coconutz, I'm not concerned about their shade of green at the moment, they look exactly as they should, but will drop the EC a little over the coming week back to the range I was keeping it at.

I guess my query was on what the general rule of thumb is for to interpret the difference of EC in to EC out. Given it was running consistently at 1.0-1.2 for the past week, I figure that the plants are pretty happy - or have been. I guess I'm just preempting my next move if any

What are your plans for dropping micro and increasing bloom. What weeks?

There were some clones in the room labeled #3 that I assumed must have been the wifi#3 that stretched like crazy, but I thought I had thrown them out.
One of them is in flower now and I found 2 nuts on it.
Its not a stretchy plant, so I dont think its the wifi#3...
I figured it could have somehow been my OG cut, but thats not possible.
Maybe its a Larry. I dont really know. Im just gonna toss everything labeled #3!

I'm yet to determine exactly. I don't know the estimated finishing time of this current run, so its a bit more guess work than I'd like.

Loosely I am thinking that I'll need 9-10 weeks, so perhaps drop micro week 6 or 7, and bump bloom up on that final week, then keep it steady for week 8-9, flush week 10.

As for dropping the micro theory, it's only a matter of if you think the plant does better to cannibalise stored nutrients rather than keep feeding and risk additional 'stuff' n the dry plant matter. This kinda seems to extend to the flush/no flush and perhaps benefits of curing and that? I don't want to buy into any of it too soon as I'm yet to see for myself. I'd rather run micro longer and flush for 1 week, rather than risk the plant not being happy in he final stages. As I see it, I'll be satisfied with either - I could do a test and split regimes on the 4 pots (3 are the same cut, 1 is very similar but not a clone).

Im sure it was the Larry#3.
Fuck swirl!
Everything else in my room is doing good.
Finally got a few things done in my work area to make things simple.
Its been a breeze!
Sm90, Aza and Spinosad are cool, but you might want to pick up something like Triple Action Neem, or something else to get a solid rotation going.
You want to alternate pesticides to have a solid IPM system.

for me I have been fogging spinosad 4 days apart before flip, I also work in pyrethrims (monterey garden "takedown") a couple of times. I have no Known bug issues besides thrips, but figure better safe than sorry right?

a nice microscope will make it less daunting. you got this far. a little due dilliegence with the proper tools and knowledge will make those little fuckers seem less daunting. not trying to imply you are unknowledgeable, quite the contrary it seems you are a keen researcher that is able to perform tasks according to regimen and perform experiments and i think you could do as well as anybody.

Some fool just knocked on my door trying to sell me a flat solar rate direct from some company.
He told me it was similar to care or something.
I asked him where he was from and he told me he read my meter and then told me he was from some third party company.
I let my dog out and walked him off of my property.
The guy didnt have any equipment with him, but he went to the rest of the houses on my block.
I didnt notice him checkout anyones meter, but we have smart meters that are pretty easy to scope.
Hopefully Ill have some cameras up soon
