Flood table support?

I'll be running a 4x4 dtw table shortly for the first time in a 4x4x7 tent. I'm looking for some ideas for a stand or support for a table with limited height. What are you guys using? Thanks in advance!

Depends on your reservoir height.someone I think it's Botanicare has a reservoir that serves as a tray stand.cinder blocks or bricks

My reservoir will be outside the tent. Just need to fit a catch pan underneath for the drainage. I'm also trying to find out which 4x4 trays will actually fit in a 4x4 tent.

I use a 3X3 tray with brick pavers under it. The actual dimensions are 39" x 39". The 4x4 was 51" X 51". I would be sure of the actual dimensions that include the flange around the perimeter and not just the useable area of the tray.

I wouldn't even use supports if it weren't for the cold, concrete basement floor.

Tents and tables are not standardized. They call themselves 4x4 but often times are not exactly that. Secret Jardins for example are in metric, so the DR-120 is really 47.24" on the exterior. Subtract out a little bit of space on the inside for the poles and really, any tray wider than 46" is going to be an issue in there. On the other hand a 4x4 Sun Hut is actually something like 54"x54"... It's fubar man.

Botanicare does make Inside dimension and Outside dimension trays. The 4x4 OD tray will work but be aware that shipping on those things is out of control because of the dimensional weight (at that size UPS trips the eff out). A 3x3 ID tray will actually cost much less after shipping with a lower dimensional weight but without losing too much total space (41"x41"). And it's guaranteed to fit.

I use these cheap shelving units from Home Depot. It's not perfect, but it works for me. Break them down so it's two shelves instead of one tall one and you have a flat surface capable of holding several hundred pounds. Each unit is 14wx22lx26h which does leave the corners a little saggy so it doesn't drain perfectly. But good enough. I went with an American Hydroponics 3x3 tray in a DR-90 tent and had to cut the corners of the tray edge off to accommodate the poles inside. It was an issue for me because I have it in a sliding closet and the rubbing of the closet door against the tent with the sharp tray edges tore my tent. I patched it with some of that spray on rubber stuff and it's as good as new now, but I was pissed when it happened and wish I'd just gone with a smaller tray.

I ordered a lighthouse hydro tent which the measurements are actually 48x48. I have a small tent made my them that I use for cloning and it is far superior to my secret jardin 4x2 tent. I also ordered one of those botanicare OD tables with an outside diameter of 48x48 so it will be a tight fit for sure. We'll see if it fits any better at an angle for drainage. I ordered it through my local shop for $80 no shipping. He will let me swap it out for a 3x3 if I need to.

Great idea on the shelving units but they're a bit higher than I want my table to sit. I like the cinderblock suggestion. I was also thinking about buying a couple pairs of sawhorse brackets to make my own sawhorses out of 2x4's to a height of my liking, then put a couple 2x4's across them to sit the table on. Or maybe just make a frame out of pvc.
