Bodhi seeds Roadkill Unicorn RKU

I just copped a pack of roadkill unicorn (RKU). I'm pumped about popping these. It's a poly hybrid cross of purple unicorn
(chem d x blackberry widow) x snow lotus (afgooey x blockhead). There isn't a whole lot of recent talk on the forums about these. Mostly stuff from a year or two ago. They sound awesome!

Has anyone grown these recently? How did they grow? I'm not really sure what to expect. I heard they yield well and there is a purple and green pheno. Also was told they have intersex tendencies. Particularly when watered with cold water?? Sounded odd to me. Anyway, I'd appreciate any feedback!

I had some vegging last year but was unable to flower at that time. They all had the same jagged leaf pattern with a naturally branchy structure. Vigorous, healthy plants in veg!

I ran it about a year ago and unfortunately only got one female but she was a solid girl, I kept her around for a while but eventually I let her go. She got tall and yielded HUGE long colas, and it had a smell I couldn't really pinpoint. Wasn't too overpowering but it was good. And again remember this was my experience with only one female so I wouldn't take it as a representation of the seedline.

Honestly I've never had a bad plant from Bohdi. Obviously not everyone is of keeper status but I've never gotten something I wasn't willing to smoke on while I had it. Can't go wrong with B, I have a couple ancient og n a silver lotus in bloom right now. And his blue lotus was the best blueberry type I've ever had, hands down.

Thanks for the report sourdank. Damn, only 1 female from a pack of 11? If so that must have been bad luck. Do you recall the flowering time?

She went 10 weeks, and that was the only time I got ratios like that from Bohdi. There fire in everything he touches

Hey steadydets my pheno stretched pretty damn tall too but I also ended up with 18-24 inch colas, I top for 4 heads and they were all massive and dense. If yield is one of ur main priorities you won't be disappointed. And then the smoke will be bomb too haha so it's a win win. There were a few grows of her on the depot before it went down and they were all fantastic.

I usually don't like to top plants, but I feel as If I have to with the RKU, 3 of my female testers stretched to almost 2 feet in 1 gallon pots and are aggressive as hell, I seriously have never had a strain that was this vigorous before.

I topped it at the fourth or fifth node and she just shot up to bout 5 ft, probably quadrupled in height. But my room was also really hot, like mid 90's because it was summer so that prolly didn't help.

This baby can stretch, 5 ft is just about the limit for my tent.

If I could trouble you with one last question, what size pots were you using?

Can you tell me what kind of rootball you saw after you cut it?

ill bump this and tell about the two ladies i encountered:

one was purple. smelled like blackberries during flower, cures to some musky, grape-ish, cant really pinpoint it, but pleasant, full bodied smell. yields were good, but not as good as no#2. kept her for three cycles, but stone was very body. friends who love indicas were over-exited tho, and couldnt believe i let her go.
but i let her go to find another pheno like

which was same structure, but green, medium sized bush, with lemon-chemmy smells, and the most amazing high. so sorry to have cut this one down, but it hermed like a mf, and i didnt risk running it again. so i will hunt in my 9 more seeds to see if there is a more stable one of that. total package, yields, smell, taste, and the high one of the better ones, 50/50, euphoric, functional but heavy. allrounder for sure

Post is getting old, but got a new RKU now.
2nd run of her. Really smells like poop when its growing. Like human poop! Or my cats.

Not really to my liking. Guessing it comes from the chemD. I have a daybreaker by GGG, it has a chem D in it also, kinda smells bad, but in a good way.
The RKU lady in flower now just smells like shit!

Some of you might find that nice, Im popping my last 5 seeds to find a nice smelling one. Kind of missing the purple one now

I also have a pheno right now if it same shitty smell smells like some crosses I got from Argo back in 2003 from Colorado really weird flowers at 15 hours daylight

I ran the whole pack after having them for almost 2 years. 11 of 11 popped. I got six females. I flowered them under a 600 watt hps.

One was a lanky very purple plant which Hermed badly on me and not much smell. One green pheno that was nothing special stretchy and foul smelling.

I got 3 great phenos: two that show purple and blue at any temp and have tons of frost but a pretty mild herbal smell and flavor. My favorite is a green pheno which is less frosty but the bigger producer and has a lemon Chem smell and flavor which is amazing.

All of these are quite potent. Really hard hitting and narcotic if you take a few too many tokes. No mega skunk smells from any of them.

The stinker smelled like barnyard/ mothballs/ old people and my carbon filter couldn't contain the smell very good. All were drenched in crystals. 1 was a runt

Sweet it’s a very vigorous plant. I’ve since killed her off and replaced her with. Bodhi snow wookie she’s up next to flower
