ive had a trouble sleeping for about 10-15 years (starting in my late high school days, im now in my early 30's) and up until recently i had been able to deal with it fairly successfully with cannabis and benadryl. i recently found out my fiance is pregnant and i couldnt be happier but i have so much stuff running through my mind about the future. when i try to go to bed i just lay there unable to flip off the switch so to speak. im gonna keep this first post short because im extremely tired but any advice would be greatly appreciated. i have also been using up to 10mg melatonin with no noticeble effect. def dosnt help me fall asleep. the best thing that has worked for me is edibles but im super low on butter so after tonight that wont be an option for another few weeks. i also meditate and do yoga and breathing excercises and eat very healthily. so, from my end it seems like im doing things right... i think its fair to assume the baby on the way has a large impact on me. even though i am happy about it subconsciously im still stresses because its a major change in my life. i do have a dr appt tomorrow to address this sleeplessness.. again any advise on that front (as far as what has worked for you in the past, whether it be medication, herbal, holistic or any other experiences that you may have that worked for you. those of you who have or are on medications or herbal supplements, what works for you?) i have tried ambien in the past but it didnt work and i just stuck with the benedryl. (which im taking about 150 mg a night before bed) seems like a lot. i have a wide variey of elite genetics both sativa and indica dominate and nothing seems to be helping. unfortunately im running low on flowers too (gave too much away) and will probably run out before harvest. so that kinda stresses me out to, lol... thanks everyone!
