Its the Flo x GSC Forum cut... I also had a light leak, so it became christmas time.... I took Goblin Girl nanners and hit a Fuckin Incredible on a lower branch, then I did the reverse.. then I hit a bruce banner with both... who knows when I'll get to poppin em... especially with 3x here.... I didnt think that'd be ready this quick... interest has not fallen, and I've gifted out a couple MCD and Kraken seeds as well as 2 overlords that should show up in the thread when they get germ'd by who I gave em to, in order to help keep the minions goin strong...

Back crossing is exactly what I would start with, 6x back will get your seed stock over 90% similar to the original cut. Sounds like a good plan to me. What are you bringing to the table to start the F's?

My terminology is probably incorrect on the F's.

The first 09 cut was an F-1, then to the back crosses.
After that, pick the best female and male of the BX's to refine the line.

Hey SG haven't lost interest, in fact I'm gaining minons added another last month he's rocking overlords I gave him. My self I have big moms of goblin god, 2 minion city's, Fem PDP, and ravnus. The hardest part is coming i have to pick 2-3 to run, they go in there holes on the 31st. I'll take pics and update today, my apprentice dadeo has a ravnus in light dep flowering I'll have him snap some bud porn, it sure is a stanky fat dense nugged bitch, I am very proud and impressed with ravnus, if you guys have these don't sleep on them there are some huge bitches that are super dank in those packs.

I'm going to try and cram as many plants in my little tent as possible this time around but staggered so I can keep it perpetual...

In 4 days since drop, none of my PDP regs have cracked.
Real disappointed of the fail of those seeds.
I'll let them sit for a week, then I'll pop more GDP's to search out for another tall skinny grape pheno for breeding.
Super bummed.

I dropped 2 more regs yesterday... one i sliced into a touch with a razor, the other, I shaved off real thin slices of seed coat with the razor to thin it out... If no luck, the last 2 will get Ga3 treatment.... I hope its a thick seed coating issue as opposed to a dud issue... gotta try everything.

I would like to preface these by saying I know my girls are ratty looking right now, fast heat wave of the year is here and it's been 95+ for 3 days this is their fast 90+ temps. Also I know they need to be transplanted they are crying for more room but I plant in less then 2 weeks so they will just have to deal with it. I would rather them die off now if they can't hang in the heat because it's only going to heat up more.

Mcd 1, this one smells of grape and muskiness I think it's a more purps leaning pheno

MCD 2 taller lankier pheno not much smell yet

Ravnus, stanky savory spicy stank, can't quite put my finger on the smell but it's bad, this is the one everyone checks there shoes when they get close because it smells so funky, this is why we dubbed it the dog shit pheno.

Goblin god, has a musky spicy Indian food kind of smell, this one will get the biggest hole this year I love it.

And lastly the pimp daddy purps, I love this girl was the runt for a long time but has caught up and is looking very promising, and having seen iron heads PDPs there is a 90% chance she makes the big show.

I would post more on here SG but it takes so long and is not very forgiving, but I haven't forgotten and read the thread daily, I'm being a productive minion haha

Always been a fan of a 24 hr seed soak. Kelp tm7 aloe coconut fish hydrolosate silica. If that doesn't work i usually call it a dud...

What traits from your 09 cut do your seeds not yet express? Or are you more or less just trying to stabilize the seed stock to be true breeding? If the latter, once you have it stabilized you could find a strain with a complimentary pedegree to start the process all over again, like querkle or something. I don't know how far you plan to run with halo but I think it would be interesting to see you continue to "work within the family" so to speak.

Un-describable flavor and scent, excellent potency, heavy yield, and early outdoor harvest at end Sept.
All I have to go by is its structure and scents in my breeding.
Problem is that Halo is a mutt, pheno was a surprising fluke of good luck, but with genetics so far from stable, would take a great deal of work to get every female within a level of stability.

The whole of Halos breeding project is to get seed that will give me another true Halo.
The original seedling was something worthy of worship, fucking perfect.
But as history of cutting only phenos show, very few of these make reliable seed stock that represent the original cut only pheno.

As far as related lines, I have 30 or so related crosses to choose from, but not focused on further crosses, just preservation of what I have.

Each of the first 2 back crosses has been picking up Halo qualities.
Seem to gain a bit more each breeding, so looks promising.
Halo is the only priority line I have, the rest are gonna wait.

The buds are tall and lanky right now but I'm thinking that they are going to fill out nicely. The leaves have a sativa look about them. One of the most striking characteristics are the pistils. They are the whitest ones I've ever seen. Usually they are a greenish yellow but these are almost snow white.

Just a note to fellow minions, the PDP is a light feeder, burned her good with a strong tea that all the others loved. So just watch now much you give her.

How old was she? How long was the soil cycled? What type of water are you using?

If your tea didn't burn the other girls I doubt it would've burnt her. Teas feed the soil not the plant. Whatever you did it probably wasn't the tea.

I like to think soils that aren't cycled enough that have quasi unestablished plants occupying them coupled with hard water or too much molasses (etc etc) will have bad outcomes...

This Halo2has been in this 3 gal pot for about 2 months now....lol. I have to keep trimming her down because I am moving in the next week or two (have been planning on it for awhile so I haven't been able to flower anything in MONTHS, it's killing me). Received her as a clone and went to work on training her. I spread eagled her tops so you could get an idea of what she has become. At once she was 9-11 tops, I had to completely machete several of them as she was just getting too out of control. I topped all the outside tops and the main central one about a week ago to halt vertical growth for a bit and you can see how the central top is becoming a clusterfuck of 12 new tops. This plant is crazy fun to grow, never seen anything like it. Just when I think I have her controlled she throws me for curveball. Throwing out branches everywhere! I can only imagine what she would look like if i didn't sever 30% of her tops and trim her down so frequently.

She's got about 7-8 main tops with a new dozen coming right out of the main central top, stand at about 1.25' from top of soil.

P.s. If you want constant cannabis leaf mulch then this is the strain for you! I've trimmed probably half of her fan leaves over the months to open up space on the lower nodes. Probably can't even tell can you?
