Spring Indoor Grow with Sweet Deep Grapefruit and Critical+ from Dinafem under 400 W

Hello IC Guys & Girls!

I'm not a professional indoor grower so you can tell me any advice what ya think' to useful.

I don't hunt for gramm / watt result or anything like that... I just want to produce some high quality medicine for myself with the strains what I like at best and share the fun of grow with all of ya.

so 22 clones in 6 litre pots (coco+soil medium) on 130 x 130 cm grow space, the box what I built (really cheap) is 2 metres tall.

no ventillation yet! hahah

strains: Sweet Deep Grapefruit (Dinafem)
Critical+ (Dinafem)
Super Skunk (Sensi Seeds)

I cut the clones in 2013 early Sept. from my outdoor flowering plants and kept alive in small pots under neon tubes in rude, cold conditions while the Winter ..than in 2014 february they get the bigger pot and the 250 MH light than on March 13. the 400 W hps and I started the 12/12 light cycle.

last day veg, March 12.

33 days 12/12 ...they are buddin' nicely so I'll give them a ventillator. LOL

what I saw till now that the Critical+ is really nute tolerant, the Sweet Deep Grapefruit flowers at fastest and the Super Skunk is already stinky as hell LOL

the other thing what I experienced that the flowering starts a lil slower if you veg with 24/0 lightin' (not 18/6) ...I should have used 24/0 continoues lighting because the heat of the light kept them alive in the rude late winter/early spring weather.

...the Critical+ plants already show orange pistils! they're so fast... with a 600 W or 1 kW HPS light they would be even faster. awesome strain!

Yeah man, looking good in here. Do you think you could manage to take a couple of pics right before or right after lights off so we can get a better idea of what they look like without the HPS glow?

Hey man looking good, i just wanted to throw this out there..if you get some grow room sunglasses or a lens and take pictures through it, it will eliminate the black lines and make for a much better picture when the HPS is on. Just wanted to let you know my way of dealing with it, works really well. Something like this http://brewngrow.com/products/lumii-growroom-glasses

Def a great job.Hats off.On the next grow i would completely eliminate the bottom third of the plants 10-18 days in flower.Whatever you clip off on the bottom will come back more at the top.I didnt believe it and listened to my mentor im happy i did.Less trimming come harvest,Bigger fatter denser buds,more light penetration and air flow.BEST of all worlds no negatives.Especially only using 400w..

My 2c.And dont mistake my post for argumentative or authoritative.Im just sharing what helped me drastically.thin plants dramatically and concentrate on tops.Pluck large leaves covering budsites.It may seem counterproductive but its not i have seen the difference.I didnt believe it until i tried it.

In fact i would remove all large fan leaves NOW.They have served their purpose and are covering budsites.At this stage of the game it DEF can only help with the swelling of the sites blocked by leaves.IMO again it works i swear.

check the "las day of veg" pic on the first page... I gave them that much veg time cause I wanted to cut as much clones as possible for this years outdoor grow and I cut 80 strong lower branches and almost all rooted of them.

btw I kno' that it's too much for (only) a 400 W light but as I said they are my selected clone mother plants and I decided to flower them after cut the clones for this years projects.

I'll also grow Moby Dick and Blue Widow (from Dinafem) from seeds this year what just arrived. the moby and bw are my (other) all time favourite strains!
