Career possibilities in the world of legalized cannabis

Offering shares is a useful method to keep employees happy. It doesn't have to be offered but I would if I had a grower responsible for 200lbs or more every month. Its easy to add zeros to the amount every month. There should be hot demand for a good grower and the compensation should reflect it.

QA send me a pm when you get to 50 posts.

Will do, otherwise drop me a line at CannabisQA@mail.com

Looks like there might be some positions opening up at TWEED after that wonderful first release. MASTER GROWER`s Send in your applications.

You cannot use DNA testing on cannabis to check for foreign entities like bugs and mold, as they are extraneous from the composition of the cannabis itself and not part of the plant's DNA. I am sure there are viruses, diseases that could alter small parts of a plant's DNA over time and be tested for. DNA testing is expensive though, it isn't the sort of thing you would be doing on every plant in a crop to check for bugs and mold issues. If utilized, it would be on a breeding level to help in parent plant selection, creating hardy strains, etc.

What is interesting though, is that Uruguay will be using DNA profiling to track product beyond sale. When a policeman finds you with marijuana, they would be able to do a scan/test of it to see if that particular batch and strain came from a government-approved source.

In Uruguay that will only work until the governent clones get out and everything is indistinguisable by DNA testing.

You make a very good point. Success of that idea would obviously rely on air-tight security.....all it takes is one clone to get out.

A link would be nice...

Read that a while ago, don't have a link handy. I've heard of this Google thing where you can look stuff up yourself though ;)

I do have some other interesting news relating to both Uruguay and potential career opportunities. You can add import/export and transport to your list so future MMY-related businesses:

Its customary to support your claims with some sort of a "proof". Thank you for a link to an inconclusive article.
Good luck with the job search.

I did not start this thread, I was simply responding to a question with some acquired knowledge...not sure why I would take the time to search for a news clip that I read months ago?

Frankly, I'm looking through a few forums during one of the very few breaks in my day. I do not have time to search for information to back your claims up. It is only in good taste to post properly referenced facts. Sadly very few adhere to that unwritten rule.

Doc, this is a forum, not a court of law. Your "unwritten rules" do not apply to anyone here, nor do I see anything resembling that in the ICmag code of conduct. I too am a busy man, and thought I was already making a contribution by sharing what knowledge I already have.

Hmmmmm, I'm looking through your recent message history and seeing an awful lot of "claims" being made on your behalf with no links to "proof". Only had to scroll down 10 posts for this one:

"Greenhouse is considered indoors. There are certain requirements as to the side wall hight, vents, etc.
Out here, on the windy prairies the greenhouses usually shut down for a couple month during the winter. A lot of money to heat them"

No link to be found. What say you now about your rules?

Uruguay has that in their police budget?

Wow, you've certainly got the "quality assurance" of a true dick...

I do? Did you go back and read this thread? I answered another poster's question, and he came in here and got all over me for not quoting sources for everything I say. Yeesh.
