OG is a tough one to get right. I grow basically the same every time and one fuck up and my OG looks much different from run to run. I even find it to be a finicky bitch in veg.

What ever cut you have there in those pics is a real winner, those are some of the biggest OG buds I have ever seen.

You said it man. The most finicky plant i grow. It always comes out nice ... get it just right, it's the best herb around.

Although everybody loves fat colas, the second pictures are obviously superior and what I strive for. The fat colas are from when I started feeding my plants in week one what I usually feed in week 3. Weight up and quality down.

Haha thanks man and please don't feel foolish, my intent was the opposite. I'm one of those guys who thinks there is really only one original cut of OG Kush and besides some s1's that are almost identical, it is the finicky nature of the strain that causes people to think they have different cuts.

May not be the most popular opinion but come on.. Dozens of different "real" Og clones ???

There aren't any Hindus in the Hindu Kush either. The range lies mostly in Afghanistan and means "dead hindus". No actual "Kush" in OG as far as I've seen, but calling it "hindu" for short suggests Indian narrow-leaf drug qualities and not the broad-leaf Afghani traits.

I have a (BlueDream x Amnesia) x (GrapeApe x OGKush) seed, that Im waiting to ripen up in my Amnesia Dream.
1 more week and I can take it out and harvest this girl. Smells lovely.
The plant is ripe and mature now. 1 more week and she'll have like 50% amber trichs'.
The Blue Dream dad gave the Amnesia mom rock hard buds with a very hazey blueberry cream smell.
I figure the OGK genetics will shorten the hieght on her, and continue with the density the OGK is known for.
The Grape Ape is just in there, and whatever it brings it brings.
I think it will be worth pollinating that 1 calyx and waiting an extra 2 weeks for.

og isn't going to shorten the height of anything dude...she triples in height through stretch, doesnt support her own weight...grape ape and blue dream are probably the most compact of those strains in the cross...potential is definitely there for something nice though!

OG Kush has certainly made a huge contribution.

Personally, I like the combinations like you're talking about.


Actually, a friend just gave me a few grams of Blue Dream hash oil. FANTASTIC !


For commercial applications, strains like OG Kush are certainly relevant.

If you don't have to have the combo of yield + resin + not so much manicuring, there are so many interesting medicinal strains.

I just was able to sample a few batches of Louis xiii og and the 5k og,

both were fantastic,

i think if i do an indoor run of og im gonna try the loius, it was so lime green, dense, and pure og all the way in the nose, taste ect, and the high was nice!
