wilma dripper system 2014 design

Has anyone tried the new revised 2014 wilma system? what did you think?

The tank is fully enclosed now, with better pump fixtures fittings and taps. There is more spacing between pots, less height used and larger pots. They even offer a big and an XL version which looks very spacious compared to the original atami system.

i think they look well better i have my eye on the 5 pot but 25ltr pots i think would be too much

Yip, they really got it compared tot he old one by hte looks of things. I have my eye on the normal sized 4 pot one, probably 2 of them.

I have used Wilma systmes in the past, main issues with the system generally all seem to have been sorted with this new remodel so really am quite interested in feedback.

i have been reading that with wilma systems you can drip 24/7 in hydroton but a lot of people reckon with dripping 15mins every 1hour the roots are better

with the blue free flowing drippers and hydroton i would go for 15minute intervals.

With coco i would grab a TMU and set minute intervals.

Get a PH and EC meter, I know they seem expensive. they pay for themselves really. having a correct PH & PPM when growing hydro is crucial. There are differences in cheap ones and expensive ones, you get what you pay for.

What nutrients are you using?

I have to say that is absolutely shocking! I never really liked the truncheons, well the EC one is okay.

I do like their combodevice either EC/PH or EC/PH/TEMP.

sadly mine is packed away somewhere in the UK

i have the ec trunchion the ph meter is like the combo meter but just a ph probe that can be replaced but i grudge paying 50quid for a new probe when the probe that came with the meter was faulty....

i bought it a while back i contacted the shop and bluelab both said hydrate it in water for 24hrs it calibrates too buffer 7 and buffer4 but when probe is in nutrient its giving of crazy readings...i contacted a few other hydro shops and every shop said there getting complaints back from customers who bought bluelab ph meters and if it has too be checked its got too go back too new zealand where bluelab are based i might buy a nutradip ph meter heard good things about them and uk made.. i paid 130 all in for bluelab and i have never done a grow with it

Wow I have been out of the grow scene for maybe 5 years and much changes. My bluelab still calibrates and functions and its 4 or 5 years old, its really terrible if quality has degraded.

I had two bluelab ph meters. I would have to calibrate them every few days, but i didnt buy the storage solution until they were somewhat inconsistent already. I emailed bluelab about it and they sent two new ones free of charge. They havent been out of calibration a single time. I like to soak them in the solution for a few days after cleaning.
