Chem D 1200w Mars LED grow

All H&G stuff should have a swan on it, it's part of their logo.

If that top shooter stays exactly like that, ie, doesn't not seperate after a few mins then it would appear they have changed it again.

The powder works great for me, so that is all I use now and have used in the last 4 years.

thanks herbs
i let it stand 30mins and no seperation so must have reformulated it

if i get good noticeable results with it i will come up with an idea so i can agitate it before the doser pumps kick in

how long has the swan been on the labels reckon my local shop has old stuff still my drip clean doesnt have a swan on and they also sell dna cell 1 2 3 which isnt on the site

For as long as I can remember there has been a swan of some kind. Be it a pic of a swan or the swan emblem. It's stems from the owners ndame, Van De Zwaan.

Yes I think DNA cell was dropped a while back. I'll check my drip clean in a bit, it's brand new from the disti.

Your right herbs they are there I just didn't notice it as much but these new labels are more vibrant the old ones look like a swan swimming in a brown sort of colour the new labels have white swans on them and the top shooter has a flying swan on it

Thanks.

Yes 1 gpw is easily reachable with leds. On my first ever run with a 300w led unit i achieved just over 11oz.

On my last and first run with this led unit, I got 16oz from 2 plants. But I had the led too close and the yeild suffered.

This run looks better alround and certainly more bud.

I tested the same lights this month. I believe their is a market for hobbyist with LEDs, but hps produces denser nugs. I believe LEDs can out yield hps but quality of hps is better. At first I started with the light hanging to low also, I just caught it early. The 1200w model should be at the same height as a 1000w hps. That was real shocking to me. Nice grow herbolizer.

I have to disagree about density. Even the first led unit I ran produced noticeably denser nugs than under hps. As is the case with this run. Chem d is not normally rock solid dense. However these are like stones, almost like I have used some kind of pgr.

The first LEDs I used I would say I was not liking the nugs tho. The quality was great, I just preferred hps. Now, as with these chems and the pynamite before, the terps are much stronger and the plants stink way more than normal.

Think with the LED Lights the claims they made when they were a lot lower wattage has put some people off. If anything its almost gone full circle it seems as though they may have almost gone too powerful if that's possible certainly it is with limited head room. Personally I only use 600w and 900w.

Forgot to mention that plants grown under led appeared healthier and darker green. Water consumption was less also. The led produced good top nugs, anything below the initial top nug was sparse.

Been a very interesting thread for me,
the chem strain is one of my favorites and I've been interested in led lighting for sometime.

Thanks

Well the plants have been hanging for 12 days and are bone dry.

I have de stalked and de stemed all nugs. Removed all fans and only have a little amount of sugar leaf to trim. The whole lot fills one of those 20L hydro buckets to the brim.

This weighs in at 682g. So prob about 2-3 oz of trim to be removed. So looks like I should hit my 20 oz / 560g target. Not bad considering the LED draws 530 watts from the wall.

I also vaped a wee nug the night before last. Best chem d I have had yet. It's like ecsd with a hint of glue. Seriously heavy. Can only get better once the cure starts.

From now on I'm only running chem d under led. It's so much nicer alround than when done under hps.

Final weigh in and some shots in the next few days.

The weigh-in proves that these girls were very happy all the time under the LEDs, the technology is definitely moving forward, think I'll try one for an attic grow.
Thanks herbs for a masterclass using led's, great show.

Peace

Just make sure you have the headroom in the attic. That is the only problem with these led units. Too close and you'll fry your plants.
