I was waiting for others to come forward. I was wondering how all my other plants could be fine but the gg wasnt, in the same flood tray, fed off the same res with stellar results literally growing next to it, even touching it.

really its just the nature of the beast, nothing in particular about the glue is the cause, you can probably find similar scenarios for the cookies and og cuts and the like, once it reached a certain level of exposure and more people had it to pass along only increased the odds of human error like mislabeled cuts or poorly rooted stressed out cuts or infected ones being passed.and human nature being what it is,and not pointing fingers at anyone,im just talking about the pot scene in a general way, that some scuzbag only cares about the profit was going to get a hold of it and not care about passing mites or whatever.once again,im not pointing a finger at anyone,so far it looks like things are being done in an above board sort of way as far as clone sales and seeds being made, yes there are plenty of picture hijacking clone dealers out there, but as far as the people here on ic it appears to me everyone is trying to do it right,or make things right.heck,if there were some safe way to do it i would say everyone who got it for free should cough up a hundred bucks for jw for being cool about the whole thing,at least a steak and a lap dance for god sake! if for nothing else aside from keeping his cool watching people slag on it and the constant trolling here.jw did a cool thing only to have it spit on,thats what i find most disheartening about all this...

My cup cut has been sick from day 1 as well.

no big fan leaves.
brittle stems.
she just wants to grow floppy laterals like crooked described.

it's sad, i've tried so many things to get her dialed assuming it was my fault but the other 700 plants ive got that are charging and perfectly healthy say otherwise.

gotta decide weather or not to cull all of mine.

Its not the GG#4 STRIAN THAT'S BAD !!!!!.. What ever the problem is I cant tell ya. It's obviously not the strain or we all would have had issue from the start... You guys have seen pics and our opinions on her. Not having big fan leaves is perfectly normal for GG#4..

If the cut you got is bad dump it and start over. If you have tried everything with the same results run after run there's no reason to keep a bad cut. Unfortunately it's just the way it is what else you going to do?

The fans on the healthy glue cuts i have now are double the size of the duds. It also has more space between nodes and a vertical growth vigor not presented by the duds.

The 3 plants from my original plant grew like a menorah, with side shoots that were expelled at a faster rate than vertical growth with no main stalk whatsoever. It is not as pronounced round, with dominant apicles actually taking up the majority of growth.

Here is what I'm looking at, whole plant and then the largest fan leaf on the bunch of them.

i know the GG4 is a wonderful plant, she was just mistreated on her way to me (and many, many others.) it's been a hectic few months for her.

not enough kind people like JW, i've got nothing but respect for him and those who helped him find this special lady and then spread her. ya'll are stand up folks.

i'll start a thread in the infirmary if there isn't one yet, specific to sick cup cuts. i know most of them had PM.. was there fusarium hiding within? ima go crack some stalks.

My two clones were growing straight up and the side branching was wide spread and very short till I top them, after that the side branches exploded out and up with great vigor.

Which ones did you purchase? The teens or the babies?

pretty much the way she has always been, the side branching always out grew the main stem from day one, that's one of the things I described in the original gg4 thread unc started. your plant looks healthy to me , normal fans for gg4,

I see issues with these plants. you have a deficiency looks like cal/mag. Also the cup is way to small. you also nee some stakes the plant can not support the branches. this is normal. You cant grow plants in a 16oz cup with results your looking for. You also need stakes for support. she cant hold up her panties .She needs help in that dept

I do like the big pot I use the 12"/14" size posts. Looks like you need to upgrade to some basic growing stuff. At least a 3g pot. wit h6 bamboo stakes 6'ers in ea pot.. Tie her up but dont tie it so tight that the stems or branches are squished/smashed.

those have to be so root bound its crazy, gg4 needs root space to perform, not saying that's all that's wrong but to tell you the truth if I leave mine in a beer cup that long they look the same way, give her a 1gl pot for a couple weeks and I bet she flourishes .

what he said,root space....

some 70 day about to come down...
