hey firstly welcome to icmag,

getting pictures up is the best way to get more detailed information. give as much information about your set up as you can. lights, medium, nutrients your using?

what strain are you growing ? how long is it meant to flower for is it 8 weeks 10 weeks ?

some plants leaves will yellow and die off towards the end of there life's. if its an 8 week strain you should probably be flushing it with plain water getting it ready for harvest. is there any other issues apart from purple stems yellow leaves? is there much bud growth

Red/purple stems means that your plants are under stress a lot of the time. Generally ph/water levels or stress from training. Lower leaves falling off late into flower is normal. At this point make sure you aren't over watering and that you have good light to every part of your plant. If some parts don't have direct light, cut them off.... They are taking energy from your plant that could be going into the buds, and this far into your flowering period you kinda got what you got.

Tell us about your room specifications, light specification, soil specs, nute specs, and how much water they are getting. But for now, if you are more than halfway through flower CUT OFF THINGS THAT AREN'T needed.

is there any point cutting off parts if he only has a few weeks left, should that not be done in early flower. there could be quite a bit of bud there after 6 weeks?

id suggest taking more leaf off so the lower parts can get more light.

Well, trimming and training are really personal preference. Idk what his setup looks like. But it kinda sounds like he is lacking in the lumens department. And green grass, I didn't see that you had posted yet so when I posted I realized that you had just said 1/2 of the things I said lol

Look to maintaing your night time temps, cooler night often slows the plants way too much!

I am now currently 5 and half weeks into flower and buds are growing lovely coved in crystals and doesn't seem to have any stress signs my setup is 2 x 600w hps all in 30 litre pots with plagron light mix medium and have ran plagron nutes all the way through at recommend dosage and keeping ph at 6.0i have air controller running outtake and intake extractors and a couple oscillating fans also have TNB co2 bottles . I started pk 13/14 at week 4 bloom for a week then went to green sensation and today have started using house and garden top shooter . But in the last few days have noticed that leaf stems at mainly top of plant are going purple and some of the tips of leaves are goi g brown and don't no if I'm over doing nutes or under or even something come telly diffrent hope
That's enough info guys thanks

it sounds like nutrient burn have you an EC meter ? maybe try cutting back on the nutes you will be flushing soon anyway,

ph 6 is recommended for hydro is it ment to be a little higher for soil around 6.5.

I based my opinion of a Phosphorus deficiency on your description.
But after looking at the pics in your album, i will say that your plants are fine.

Btw, lower leaves yellowing is usually a sign of an N deficiency. And it's perfectly normal for lower leaves to slowly yellow in flower. You're 6 weeks in already. Imho, your plants are fine. HOWEVER, a few pics of the whole plant would give us a better idea...
