I really hope with a pressure regulator my system comes thru - or just how it is right now with out one... but I think for hte most part this is going to be a fiasco

Sometimes rookie eyes see what an experienced grower might miss, so with that disclaimer i will add my 2 cents. First I am thinking that the water will distribute to each outlet unevenly because all the hoses are open and water will travel the path of least resistance. So I would think to add some type of valve to each hose end they are easy to find and cheap if that is just standard irrigation tubing you are using. The second thing I noticed is that the tubes end right at the stem of the plant, in my regular vegetable gardening that is usually a no no as it can cause rot at the plant base, I usually put all my drippers at least 2" away from the stem. Don't mind me if this is nonsense to you.

One more thing. Why not use Blumats?

nice looking manifold L

Thanks it was a fun project! definitely understand how to execute it properly the 2nd time to simplicity all around!

are you calling me an experienced grower? :woohoo::tiphat:

I would of had blumats in 2012 if they would suit my growing room.

you are correct water distribution is not even - but I have tweaked the system so that only 2 plants over flow my cash croppers :D

Rot? from that? Maybe because its a veggy garden with many other elements and using soil - which retains water and has a different composition than my awesome coco!

THe position of hte tube ends is to ensure the water stays in the pots - my medium is to hte brim and my handwatering with a pyrex has caused me much trouble with spilling hte medium off the tops of hte pots - so I have been slowly but surely pouring the food from like 2 feet high up the main stalk - so that it slowly trickles down the whole stalk to the top of the rootball and then spreads out.

I got these PERFECTLY SIZED 14 gallon recycle bins from home depot today - for new drain"buckets"

I'm going to retrofit my smaller water pump to be used as a drain res emptying device.

I think that'll be better for my back than to bend and lift loads of water that has the risk of being spilled as well.

I'm really happy with the first few runs.

1 minute is slight over kill but unless I can find a decently priced timer that does seconds - it'll do.

Tonight the girls are supposed to EAT but I been flushing the shit outa them from dialing the manifold in so im going to way till half way thru the lights on cycle tonight and then fill the res with food :D

im finally eating today.

got those taxes done - idk why being single causes you to pay more than all the BLOOD SUCKERS

cleaned the rig - dab time!

oh and I got those Beans from OJD :rtfo:

My 1st thought was that it must have been a pain in the ass to get that piping put in with full grown girls everywhere. So now your buddy just has to make sure the res doesn't dry out? Piece of mind worth having.

The ladies are looking lovely and that slight def (or whatever) doesn't look too worrisome - sure youll have that fixed before your trip.

Awesome! I wondered if the beans had made it while I was getting caught up.

im back

im back

the system worked!

I got pictures - things are getting super fat in here

im afraid im going to have a terrible time keeping things from flopping - especially on the screen lol

My only complaint is the veg tent.

My glue clones almost went past the wilting point :/ tucked in the back some 1 didn't see them but no worries - perked up already.

And I found 2 plants where the tag had two names on it and I cna't identify them and one of those is Jack33 whom I want to keep.

Shes getting huge and stacking real nice - love that plant - only wish she wasn't getting so big. Shes helping hold up the right light.

added a CFL bulb for the pathetic PHD plant. w/e.

be back later with pics n shit

Help Please

Help Please

Everything in the res plus the res are slimy - whats that all about - and how can I maintain a clean healthy res - unless thats healthy/normal? R/O water - 2 air stones - chem ferts :shucks:

I swear some one busted a nut in my room AGAIN...

I got some really dark red pistils popping up in the most random places on some plants - not all. Well where I can see / get too.

My gut tells me its not the red hairs we like :(

Its not damage - it could be Nute Burn - but I REALLY hope its just maturity.

When do pistils start dying off? I'm on day 35 Week 5 and I have 8/9 week finishers.

I always trip out over this every fuckign bloom cycle - but it always is the worst scenario of my girls getting knocked up.

I'm pretty sure its pollination but maybe i can get some macros to do the talking.

I wish I could take the plants out - but they are too big and far in...

I'll be doing an insane inspection tonight but from last nights adventure i don't think i'll find any dicks hanging around...

I swear I should just use Ducthmaster reverse each round :chin:

Well time to dab - sorry there aren't more pictures and I don't think i'll have many more till colors change.

a lil bleach solution or peroxide always keeps my res nice a tidy and smelling good,,of course you know to go light on it . I also had some pistils dying off early and I flush her with some good ol ph'ed water and she jumped back ,I think it was over dosed on the micros I was given her....

I'm at a lose for words... One of the Cali Connect Randoms - in the corner - under the fan - by the door - is for sure getting knocked up...

Today there were many more dark red pistils - and the red is starting from the base.

I REALLY hope its this plant - with an early nanner that bussted within a developing nug.

OR im just tripping and its maturing -

What is the life cycle of a stigma? What indicates that the flowers are maturing from observing the pistils?

Yup - Pollinated... From where and why? :(

I can't find shit.
