STEEP HILL RAN A REPORT SAYING THAT EARL SHOULD BE PURGED FOR 100+ HOURS
Purge tech...
- take your oil from the BHOgart and spread it super thin on your parchment.
- put in the vacuum oven at 97*, and turn on your pump for 2 hours.
-flip the patty, and put back in the oven at 125* with the pump running for 20 min.
-release vacuum, and let patty sit in 125* oven for 5 min.
thats it! 2.5 hour purge is all it takes. Its all about surface area. SPREAD YOUR OIL THIN
here is a trimrun with 35ppm, and 31% terps with this method...

That kind of makes sense regarding having a high terpene concentration. I worked with essential oils in the nutritional industry for a few years and you would think high levels would cause the concentrate to be more fluid. They're also typically very volatile and can evaporate rapidly. That is the only lab I have seen putting out terpene #'s like that. SteepHill ran something that came out 20% (if I recall correctly) and that was a very viscous fluid. The BHO results they post are ~5% terpenes, at the very most.
I just don't understand how Analytical360 is getting results that high, something is up
IF their terpene results are way off then brings into question everything they test for. I've dealt with labs for years and at times had to send the same sample to different labs for verification and interesting to see the results using different methodology and/or equipment.
35% terps
31% terps
i tried farmer joes purge tech today. unfortunately the material was already partially decarbed so I had pretty sticky oleoresins (i think thats the right word)
But my main complaint was with the TANE, I ran liquid five on this run because of the price and previous success with POWER5.
But with the farmer john tech I feel there may have been some of the mercaptains still lingering...kinda the grainy "bad" smell. last mastercase i ever buy of this crap....thank goodness im ordering a cls,
How is it that your product retains a non-liquid state with terps this high?
The cannabinoids are soluble in the terpenes, and the terps are liquid, how can you have pull and snap or shatter when ~1/3 of the material is basically a liquid solvent?
If you take good rock hard shatter and add 1/3 of its weight in limonene, it makes a runny liquid.
I'm not saying the test results are wrong, but I don't understand how you can have a solid product with terps that high.
Thanks for your time.

could be a lab mistake.. or could be a sappier product? i dont know.. i know ive seen some that smelled and tastes really like the nugs it came from.. and it was a lilly sappier then normal.,
