Greatest Hangover Food of All Time

Hello,
This thread is for The Greatest Hangover Food of All Time. :friends:

So far the nominees are:

1. Chicken Fried Steak

2. 8 Jack In The Box 2 for 0.99 cent tacos <-- budget choice!

3. Pho noodles at a legit Pho Restaurant <-- this according to college students at LSU

Absolute worst hangover food nominees:

1. GO BioMarine

2. sushi

3. yen ta fo (I haven't had it but there is absolutely no way I would put this in my mouth after a night of drinking excess or even plum sober!)

bfd2ixncyaaigxf.jpg

a picture of yen ta fo above, "Yen ta fo is hard to describe: plain rice noodles dressed up in a pork broth-based sauce liberally touched with red fermented tofu and chilies, pork and fish meatballs, bits of squid and congealed pig’s blood, and a whole handful of blanched morning glories. The very best bowls have deep-fried bits of pork crackling and garlic as garnishes." Bangkok Glutton :hide:

Also, if you choose, you can separate your hangover foods into a lack of weed hangover food and wake n' bake hangover foods.

All entries allowed. you don't win anything but better info for the future at that time you find you want to vomit up your spleen and need some form of succor. :tiphat:

You get the two tacos for 99 cents then get a jumbo jack and put one of the tacos on that. Greatest burger ever at 1 in the morning lol.

The hangover from a few extra beers with the boys type drunk? ...or too drunk to stand, shit your pants type drunk?

As an expert in this field with about thirty years experience, the clear winner is Ice Cream sandwiches.

...I dunno....your welcome?

Asparagus. It contains enzymes that break down alcohol in your system, and can alleviate hangovers.

Menudo with bloody mary's. Vodka with grapefruit juice. Red beers.

Or a snootful of cocaine & scotch on the rocks if it was a really, really bad one.

That would be pre-1987, when I gave it all up. Otherwise, I'd have been dead long ago.

Excellent guys. It seems that menudo is a major player so far! I have no idea what posole is, but I think I would eat that long before menudo...

I think egg rolls deserve a mention....

Pozole (Nahuatl: pozolli About this sound po'solːi (help·info)), which means "foamy"; variant spellings: pozolé, pozolli, or more commonly in the U.S. – posole)[1][2] is a traditional pre-Columbian soup or stew from Mexico, which once had ritual significance. Pozole was mentioned in Fray Bernardino de Sahagún's "General History of the Things of New Spain" circa 1500. It is made from nixtamalized cacahuazintle maize,[1] with meat, usually pork, chicken, turkey, pork rinds, chili peppers, and other seasonings and garnish.[3] After colonization by the Spaniards, the ingredients of pozole changed, but the staple maize remained. It is a typical dish in various states such as Sinaloa, Michoacán, Guerrero, Jalisco, Morelos, State of Mexico and Distrito Federal. Pozole is served in Mexican restaurants worldwide.

Also I should try asparagus but I fucking hate it unless it is the giant white ones quick fried in a wok....
