those are gonna be big plants if you can keep them healthy. thats a long time to veg in a 10gal lol . you have a cart or something to move them outside with or you guys just carry them out 1 at a time ?
i hope they get big before they go outside. 10gal isn't too small, i feel bad for the Hardcore OG's that are in 5gals for the next month. And yah we carry them out by hand, one by one. lots of fun.

what is your goal, yield wise off those?
just wondering. thanks
:peacock:
The glues are getting their own pots and should yield 5-10lbs each. We've never grown her before though so we will be happy with 3-4lb glues. Personally i will just be stoked if they survive until harvest. We dont need to be millionares i just want to grow some dank

check out 420 blend, North County Bounty. We been using it for a couple years they say you don't have to add anything for 90 days or something?

EWSF has its pros and cons, yes its some of the best soil out there, but this is mostly because of the special and diverse microbiology work that dave does. however it is short of amendments, he has a strict no guano, no manure rule so if you like using that stuff you will need to add. its basically an awesome base that people can add their own little tweaks too since everybody has their own little way of doing things.

I'm going mostly organic/veganic as well, so I'm not adding any manure, but we did amend our EWSF with alfalfa, EWC, and glacial rock dust.

If you wanna go zero amendments just go with pallets of ocean forest or black gold. put some compost teas on them and amend via that route. dave sells liquid worm castings and worm juice that are a huge part of my tea regimen.

if you go with the worm farm soil and spend the 7000 you saved on H&G on more soil, you'll have a better year, but just because you go get some soil from them doesn't mean you'll have a good year. you still need to have some skills. It is the best soil that you can go and buy and the fact that you dont HAVE to add anything to it makes it worthwhile.

he usually gives a couple jugs for free if you buy soil, and will cut a deal if you're a regular. its good for lazy people who dont want to mix in bags of EWC into their soil. but yea its a little pricey for sure…you could just get some regular EWC and brew it up normally and have great results. like i said earlier the premium on EWSF pricing is mostly due to all diverse microbiology he adds into his worm juice...

How many total in your crew do you have working, not including trimmers of course..
we have 3 people here full time, including myself and Drue Bleem, plus a couple extra heads when things get busy, like right now.

Cool, We might go that route. Right now we havent decided on soil yet, it depends on a few factors like price, quality, and speed of delivery. We need about 25-30 yards of something that is ready-to-grow. Probably will place the order next week.

I will hit them up and see about delivery. thanks!

work begins..

work begins..

we have to dig out the soil from last year's 200's and fill this year's 400's, which we are making with hardware cloth and landscape fabric. We are also carving out a bit more hillside to fit the 400's where the 200's used to be.

Then once the 400's are filled we have to get our amendments and mix all the dirt. We have enough dirt from last year to fill 20x 400's, so we need to get another 10 yards of dirt to fill the last 5 pots.

more work to come: clearing out guerilla plots on our own property, to grow seeds in 45gal smarties.

Why don't you just cut open the old pots till the 200s in to a base for your new soil and pile another yard on top?

thats basically what we ended up doing , kind of.. We just took apart the 200's and made them into 400's. they are 6' diameter 2' deep.
