I should have been more specific. The cage around the lights is clear, and a good idea.

I meant from these pictures:

I would think the outside CW is what supports the plants once fully swollen and that is a beautiful rig for sure....

Beautiful HGO..now I gotta back up my read and see why this vert is your last/ you were my initial inspiration after all.

Glad to see more people considering switching from vert to horizontal, something I've been contemplating for a few months now. My vert SOG isn't doing as great as I thought it would, I'm finding keeping it full is a pretty difficult task itself. Between keeping fresh soil cooked and ready, taking cuts, xplanting, and the frequency of watering....not to mention all the times I almost spilled water on my lower bulb.... Its a lot more work than I bargained for.

Not gonna get rid of my trees side, though. Only just added a stacked bulb and wanna rock some tall girls. Just gotta get a hood and convert v-sog to h-sog.

Sorry to hear you're leaving the business man but I know you've always had a plan of action to get out of this game and into your career, fair play. I think I'll be doing this when I'm 90 if I live that long lol. Are you still hitting the iron? I'll keep an eye out on your thread for some updates. Don't be a stranger.

Don't be sorry for me.... This has always been a means to an end for me. I'm just now getting back on a proper diet and training schedule. Honestly my shoulder injury has left me with a bit of depression. I'm getting out of it now but going from 210lbs jacked not needing anyone's help for anything, to having a bum arm and a round midsection sucks. Lol. I just have to listen to my body with the training b/c my left clavicle has quite a bit of flex now. Heavy weights can really put me in some pain... not that I let it stop me.

organic soil, just add water from seed/clone to finish. I'd consider coco if I had a drip system or something, but hand watering small containers with coco? I'm already watering daily or every other day in late flowering depending on container size. I was just expressing my thoughts that I've had for a while that running a perpetual sog may be easier under a hood. Coco flood table? Hell fucking yes! the multi level vert makes automated watering a pain.

kinda going through the same thing myself, man. Went from about 205 with 9% bf to 190 and maybe 20% bf now. Also hurt my shoulder,by the time it was healed enough to get back to lifting,my girl was pregnant and I actually ballooned to 210 30-35% for a while. This is a huge change for me. Been cutting back on puffin down to about 2/g daily from 10-15 g/day, my motivation is improving while laziness is fading, can't say I'm surprised. Joining a basketball league did A LOT for my physical shape. Now to get ripped again....

HGO! I finally had time in my life to find this thread! Can't wait to see the completed transition to hori. bro. I've always considered trying it, but everytime I decide to spend money, its never on a hood. Lol

Are you going to use adjust-a-wings?

IMO. If I went horizontal scrog, those are probably the only way I'd do it.

Easy on the wallet, light weight, quality reflective material, no glass, adjustable light spread.

Sub'd.

Glad to hear about the Drip-Clean debates. I have been knocking myself silly the past YEAR. Doing practically everything I could to curb this shitty yield run I've been having.......

The main difference? Using Drip-Clean..........

I am going to discontinue it immediately, and see what happens!

Awesome as ever HGO, I look forward to seeing the results.
