hi all i am very tempted to buy an extraction experts 60g&90g interchangeable closed loop system. I cannot find any reviews. My only cls experience is with the tamisium te175, i was wondering if anyone has used an extraction experts closed loop system and how it compares.
Thanks!

you would choose the tamisium te175 over any of the interchangable extraction experts systems?
im comfortable using the tamisium, but the extraction experts seems to be simple enough to use at a low price plus the fact you can swap columns seems cool to me. if i could afford a sweetleaf i would definetly get one of those...just looking for a simple cheap but reliable closed loop system

then your going to need to make your own.. .. grab the paperwork off the net.. bring it to a machine shop.. and pick it up a week later.. for 1/4 the price.

honestly.. i am talking to a friend who thinks we got a guy that can do the work . and it loooks like ill save a decent amount of cash..

Yes but they pre-drilled the lid for you, allowing you to use the old leaky design with threaded pipe nipples rather than welded ones, surely that is worth the $600 markup?

Expensive. The directions they sent me were 1/1/2 pages at most. They were way wrong and the EXACT text from GW's site (different size spool). Terrible at returning calls and after 4 tries to get the promised screen gaskets I gave up. All fittings were done with white tape and every one leaked. They use close nipples which are destroyed if you have to remove them. I think they use the cheaper valves. Other than that everything is ok.

Order from glacier, parts sent out the next day (glacier rocks.), get parts in, take to metal shop, welded drilled all in an hour. Assemble, ready to rock on delivery day. Save $1000

Order premade. Sent out the next day (highly unlikely), week, month (depending on by who), ready to rock on delivery (likely later delivery/availability than glacier), $1000 more, could be week+ after a DIY.

ASAP = DIY.

*edit*
And ill add to customer service. 4 emails sent to extractionexperts (1 year ago, looking for specs on equipment they sold), 0 returned emails. Some of the worst customer service I have received, even in this 'grey' area, everyone else answers within 24hours.

Wish they would have left the automotive air-cond. kit out and instead included stainless steel hex fittings, hose, can tapper, vacuum gauge or something. I changed fittings and hoses to 3/8 stainless steel and gaskets to viton since I use dry ice. I do like it, but it took me another few weeks to modify it for my tastes.
