taking clones

Hey so i have been reading if i sex a plant and then re veg it for a clone it can damage the amount of yeild once you flower that plant again, is that true or is that a better way to do it ? i like to use reg seeds as i like to collect pollen

Some people will take a clone from a young plant and immediately put it under a 12/12 regimen the clone should show sex in 10 days or a little more.Meanwhile the plants vegging can be sexed. males and females can be segregated before pollination and still receive full veg lighting.People usually do this when they have a big grow from seed. Most of the time the clone is only worth throwing away if done this way.

The clone could be revegged and flowered again it would prob yeild more!!Ive revegged plants that grew so many nodes i couldnt see the stem. The Time it takes to revegg is the only reason to throw the clone away.

Or the fact that your investing lights to yield a couple grams of product.

I agree with the revege thing tho, yeah it takes time, but often will yield a plant with a MUCH thicker growth structure (meaning the density of the internodes is tighter.)
