I was forced to do it this way because the cable between the 2 fans, as well as the power cord to wall are not long enough. Also they are only 120 cfm

I was concerned the fusing might have been caused by root trimming.

FYI, it was a very tasty leaf, not bitter

hey pet flora

why not try using one fan to bring in fresh cool air from a hole at the bottom of the tent, and keep just one where you cut the hole.

the fusing is common with the ss as well. not slot, but present none the less

wow dude, they are doing amazing. i dont know if a mentioned but the silver skunk loooooove hydro culture. its a lot easier on their nute/wetness sensitivity.

these things have really blown up. so are you using like a dwc/wick hybrid system now? thats really ingenious. my tables are a drip/nft bybrid, and can easliy be coverted to dwc.

they should double up or more over the next week. looking forward to seeing it happen

Thanks Sensi:woohoo:

Now you know why I took extra time in the beginning to show how I do it. It is simple and effective

Refill nutes are 440ppm. Just checked the rez and it's only 220! They are sucking up a lot of nutes. Yet growing like this with only 220ppm OMG :dance013:

Nutes are Hydropoic-Research one step (very complete) dry formula

Look at the 3rd pic, nutes are kept ~ 1" above the Air Pot with 4 large oxystones spread out under the grate. I tired to use chinese discs, but they clogged. I tried to clean them and will try again when I replace nutes with 440, which I will do ASAP

Go back to first few posts, where I show my medium

Which 2 are you referring to as possible Blueberry Cheese Cake?

FYI, since pinching, the one plant that had the fused top is now nicely bifurcating. I tied each stem down to help them spread. Will likely keep it under the leds

I had to increase the ppm of the make up nutes as 440 quickly becomes 200, and I want them eating ~ 400

2 Bigguns Up Top

2 Bigguns Up Top

I've been busy prepping the upstairs 'tent'

Just finished putting the 2 biggest plants up there, under ~ 432w hot5; a mix of ZooMed FloraSuns + Quantum 6500 Grow bulbs

They are being top fed via Hydro Halo rings. Feed cycle is 30/30

As the rez is a couple gallons, maintaining ~ 450ppm will be a lot easier

High Performance Rez link https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?p=6301570#post6301570

What a difference 3 days made

Plus a pic of my High Performance Rez

When re-starting the HH ring quasi F/D system, there is usually a few adjustments needed

One I need to do is raise the height of the horizontal feeder tube to the back plant.

Also, I made an improvement to the flooming. Now using a ~6oz plastic bottle filled with stones. The nutes are pumping directly into it, then out the bottom into more stones, then cascade back into the rez. Well, the horizontal tube (with the magnets) was too long, and slipped out spilling ~ 1/2g onto the terrazzo floor.

I neglected to replace it, so not enough nutes were feeding the back plant, which was fine last night, but was droopy this morning.

It is mostly back to a healthy turgid state

I should have had my BML rails so I contacted them. Apparently I needed to complete the order form for them to make them up, so hopefully by next Friday

Looks like 4 keepers out of 7 popped

Now that more led light is available, 2 of the 4 remaining plants are taking off :jump:

The plant I FIMed, that had the fused top leaf, is too short unable to each up into the lights' sweet spot, so I decided to move it, and run a test.

It has a well established root system at the bottom of the AP, so I moved it between the 2 plants upstairs.

It will not get a HH ring to feed from the top. I am curious to see how well it responds being in the direct path of the runoff from the second plant

Light will be an issue here as well, but, nothing ventured...

Happy Easter to my Christian friends, and OMG Happy 420:biggrin:

Seems like a good excuse to pop a few pics

Tomorrow will be 30 days from when the rooted seedlings were put into net pots

MM, when should I flip?

Hard to see, but there are 2 (healthy, happy) plants under the leds

LED Pics are 1 & 2,

I will change out rezes today

The photo program sucks as it seems to have its' own agenda for uploading the order taken

HOT5 Pics the closest plant branches are almost ready to tie down to my Cube.

The bifurcated (FIMed) plant is doing fine so far

Plants are 30 days from cotyledon

Time to start increasing the amount of WW and lowering the light schedule in both tents to 15 hours, on the way down to ~ 12/12

In the led tent I added ~ 36w WW (a 1 x 4 retrofit ceiling light) to trigger pre-flowering. Will replace it with the 2 BML bars

Pic is prior to removing the diffuser

HOT5 Replaced 2 @ 6500 with 2 @ 2900

Also dumped and made up fresh nutes @ ~ 450ppm
