has anyone ever heard of this strain or have any experience with it? i am a sativa lover but i was gifted a cut of this, its a high cbd strain (the first high cbd plant i have had so i dont have much experience in high cbd strains) im told it tastes strongly of citrus. (tangerine) i cant find any info on the net but im thinking its a cross of swiss gold and sour tsunami, both of which are high cbd strains. i dont want to assume this though and even if these were the parents i dont know which one was the mom and which one was the dad in the breeding project. i got it from a very reliable source here in so hum but from a super busy person and is sometimes hard to track down. i dont want to bug him to much about it so i was hoping someone on here would have some info. its a very slow growing plant so far, i have only had it for about 3 weeks and it is in a one gallon container with a soil mix. any info is much appreciated.

im interested in not only what the cross is but how it likes to grow, is it nute sensitive, yeild, etc. basically i like to know as much as i can about all the strains i have in my collection. i was told to make oil out of it for a more effective medicine. does anyone have experience in making BHO or other concentrates from high cbd strains? i dont use it but i think high cbd strains would be very useful to use to make RSO type oil. i would think to get the ideal cannabinoid profile for the rso one would mix the high cbd strain with a high thc strain or mix the oils to find that perfect balance of medicinal effects. again i dont use rso so this is just a theory. i am glad to have a high cbd strain in my collection though. i have lots of experimenting to do.this is one of the many reasons i love the cannabis species. so many great choices! you can literally find the best medicine for you out of the huge variety of effects, duration, smells, tastes etc. great stuff!

hi relic,
that cut came from ringo, the breeder from sohum seeds. i kept after him for a nice cbd plant that didnt smell like hay and grow like a rope. this is what he brought me.
i ran it in a greenhouse and got a beautiful xmas tree of tangerine smelling high cbd cannabis with less than 1% thc. its the tangerine scent that made me want to do an extract on it.
ill ask ringos son levi what the parents are in the cross and any specifics...ringo just passed away so aside of the tragedy of that, hang on to that cut. i have a ton of his seed stock but that plant was a hand delivered from him to me type of thing. i wanted his genetics available in clone form for our patients and that plant is what he brought.
im gonna miss you ringo.

As far as I can tell Swiss Tsunami is the single most potent CBD strain currently around, I picked up some at a local dispensary boasting 24% CBD. I have a strain thats hit 20% CBD & I thought I was a CBD badass because of it until I heard about Swiss Tsunami, then I found out I can get better stuff than what I have less than 15 min walk from my front door. Maybe I should give up.
I know this is an old thread, but thanks for filling us in on the Swiss Tsunami backstory. The bud I bought at the place selling it was really all around primo, it had bag appeal, nose appeal, tasted great & was potent as hell and because of the high potency it was also the best CBD per dollar deal in any dispensary in town.

Is it related to Thaifun Horizon from Bluehemp, a thai landrace? nectar seeds released a mix of thaifun horizon crosses called Tsunami Mix. They are from switzerland.

Its gonna be tough for you to dig up a legit Swiss Tsu if you're not on eastern Pacific rim. I bet you could get the TGA genetics ACDC x Pennywise a lot more easily, phenos of that one have recorded even higher CBD numbers than Swiss Tsu, one of them almost hit 27%.
