As far as the drooping after it has been watered. Thats Overwatering droop. They are too saturated with water so they are "flexing" to tell you whats up.
Wait to water until the plant tells you its thirsty. Learn what a heavy watered bucket feels like and a pot that needs watering feels like by picking them up.
When the bucket is light, put a finger in the medium and check on the moisture levels.
If theres moisture, leave it until theres not much moisture at all.

The droop is different from each other. The stems will be rock hard when its overwatered "Flexing".
When they are thirsty drooping, the stems will be soft and kinda lifeless.

Thanks a lot! However, I realized I had watered RIGHT before the photo and they hadn't quite responded yet. It is challenging because all the different strains/phenos seem to eat at different rate. And of course the 2 plants in 5 gallons hold a shit ton of water. Anyways, thanks for the right up on of over watering!

Excited about the flip!

You need to fill in the scrog before you flip it silly.
Once all the holes are filled up, then you flip them. You got 120 holes to fill with tops.
Those plants arent even close to ready. You'll have ALOT of extra space that couldve been yield. You can get twice as much if you train and wait another 3 weeks.
Double your string count as well. Meaning...move the strings closer together. You dont need a huge square for 1 branch. Thats kinda overkill. You got the idea...now you need to fine tune it. The way your doing it now, you might as well just used bamboo stakes. Much easier. With a ScrOG, the idea is to fill in the canopy with nothing but tops. The bottom branches are grown and trained to be tops.

The way your doing it now doesnt make much sense. Wait 3 wks, train the tops down so the bottoms are coming through the net.
Tighten up your spacing with the strings. Once all the bottoms are tops and the trellis is filled in completely, flip em'.
Then put another trellis ontop of that one after the stretch. That way you can see how tall it needs to be to support all the tops.

Well I'm just going to lower the screen and train them for a few days. I'm so behind schedule. Kinda stressed.

Hey man don't stress. I dunno if I agree with ODW. I immediately disclaim he has WAY more experience growing than me. My recent experience however says that, it is very relevant how your plant stretches to how much screen to fill (or not fill) before the stretch. It seems to me that it is better to err on the side of having more than enough space for your plants than cramming everything together and having to decide what you will cut out or how else you will deal with overcrowding/stretching. Again I stress that I don't really know shit. It is just my 2 cents. Familiarity with the strain/pheno is everything IMO. Maybe a few other IC members with some Scrog experience will opine on the subject.???

Thanks a lot for your input! The sours are gonna get stretchy so this is what I'm thinking...

I've got 80 tops right now. If I lower the screen to right on top of the plants and train each top through their own spot in the scrog. There are 120 holes so I'm thinking during the stretch I will fill the last 40 and I can trim the extra stuff. Then as the tops stretch to the sky, another screen gets placed.

Seem reasonable? I'm happy with how the Sours look so that's good at least.

So I found an old thread that I thought was very impressive. It's by Big Green not sure if hes active here anymore. Anyways, here is a picture of his scrog at day 1 of bloom. Then a picture of week 2.

So should I drop the screen and train right now? .... And flip

It seems like there are a few ways to do this..

Whoa! I check out for a couple weeks and shit is blowing up around here.

I haven't had time to go through your thread yet and get up to date. Just wanted to say what's up and I'm finally done with my move and work shit that had me out of commission for a minute.

Hey guys, internet was down.. Kind of a struggle.

Things have been going relatively well other than me getting 4 males on the seed run. That's alright though, they were chopped to make more room for more plants. I left one because it's so gorgeous I just couldn't give it the axe. Looking for a a home if someone doesn't call me back by tonight I'm chopping him.

I'll be back with a little update, it's been a week and one day since the flip.

Week 1

Week 1

So it's been 8 days since the flip. I was conflicted about when to flip and where to place the SCROG and other things so I hope it works out well. If not, it will definitely be a learning experience. The plants got stressed at some point and threw some strange looking leaves but other than that they look happy.

The plants have been fed H&G Soil A + B (12ml/gal)
ph = 6.3

2 weeks in

2 weeks in

Yesterday was the 2 week period for the ladies in bloom. Things are going well other than getting 4 males in my seed run. But it's okay. The plants also got very stressed one day because of heat. Here are some pictures, last night I stayed up really late defoliating under the SCROG. Forgot to take a picture of it when I was done so I will snap a photo tonight when the lights come on.

Good going getting back on track. It feels so good.

I am barely just getting back after a devastating bout with Root aphids.
Life has been crazy lately for me as well.

Scrog looks great and the plants do too! Beautiful green color to boot.

Yeah it feels great. Root aphids ughh what a huge pain in the ass. Thanks for the comment on the SCROG, I'm actually kind of happy about how it's turning out. No where near perfect but better than I thought I'd do.

p.s. Doing a little update again because I got some better pictures.

So here we are on day 16. I forgot to mention that a few days back I sprayed everyone down with Green Cure at a rate of 1 tablespoon per gallon. I'm now feeding 14 ml/gal House & Garden A&B.

The Chemmy Jones is flowering very quick. My set up partner just had surgery and I'm really struggling with getting this fan and second light up. So the plants from seed will spend a little bit too long under the 400 watt for my liking but they will get 1000 watts soon enough.
