When to Flush before Harvest

High All

So I'm just about set for my first harvest and I'm wanting to know when all the fine ICmag folk begin their flush cycle and for how long. This is my 3rd indoor run and I'm set to have my best harvest yet. My plants are at about day 60 and the triches are just starting to turn to a cloudy/white and I believe I should begin my flush cycle now? or do I wait? I'm growing in Pro Mix so I'm using a Hydro nute feed schedule. I've had my ladies on 1/2 strength for the past week. I'm thinking a week for flushing should be good. I usually water about 3 times a week. Is one week ok or should I flush for two weeks?

I stated Pro Mix is my medium

I stated Pro Mix is my medium

depends on strain and medium.

As for the strain. I don't really know as I was gifted a mom plant from someone whom I know. he lost track of the exact variety only saying that is was a White something? It's certainly an indica type.

Go by the leaf colors... Right about now they should be yellowing, not green if the trichomes are getting cloudy.

Sub forum...Indoor Soil....I'm surmising you are using soil? You don't have to "flush" per se....just use water throught the remainder. If the trichs are cloudy....I say, flush with water. Nothin' tastes worse than smoking and having taste buds detect 'Hydro nutes". Yuck! Well, there are worse tasting, but having chemical bud...yuck!

Yes, start flush now. Go a week or 2. Strain dependent, and try to get all the leaves except for the tiny bud leaves to turn very yellow before harvest. But monitor trichome color. I wouldn't want many amber trichs. Good luck. -granger
