cultivating Pnsb?

Does anyone have experience with cultivating pnsb from pond water or mud or stagnant water or anything?

I've used water from a local pond for making compost teas before but never knew just what was growing in them. My plants did well with the tea but all I know for sure was the water never hurt. I used water full of algae and tiny barely visible critters.

There used to be some research floating around on these forums on water sources for compost tea, and ditch water did very well compared with other sources.

Along these lines I've also used spirolina ( fresh water algae) powder in teas with decent results. Expensive on a large scale though.

Prolly not the answer you want, but it's all I got for ya...
