LOL they are still requiring you to send in the form stating you destroyed everything. This is a big one I think because of the privacy breach so are they still going to send out letters with the forms?

Hope Health Canada learned its lesson and sends everything registered mail like they have always done in the past. In there press release Health Canada stated that the last open regular mailing was a huge mistake, if they do it again, they can't claim that anymore.

Indeed. License expires and client moving for April1. March 31 the place burns to the ground. It looks too ridiculous to not be suspicious.

Canada appealed the Allard injunction. The appeal was filed March 31, 2014. It was within the 10 day deadline for appeals from "interlocutory judgments". Canada claims that the judge erred in both law and fact. John Conroy has 10 days to file an appearance and then I expect that a briefing schedule will be set and dates for the hearing confirmed.

I don't have a guess on timing. Obviously due to plant growth cycles this leaves a lot of sick people in limbo as to whether they would be able to finish another cycle and even if so whether they would be permitted to keep any medicine produced.

I expect (though can't confirm) that John will cross-appeal on various issues such as mandamus compelling the Minister to process new applications and address changes and the 150g hard cap on possession.

Appeals are hard to win because of the deference given to trial judges on factual issues. But a constitutional exemption covering 30,000 people is a very unusual remedy. I can't predict how the appeal will go.

Ultimately the real question is this: when will our government finally end cannabis prohibition so that we can take patients off the front lines of the misguided failed and dangerous war on drugs?

You guy realize how insane this is, what is happening right now. A government of a country is saying hey we don't approve of this plant as medicine so we'll take it away the your court approved constitutional right for you to grow it like any other plant in the world and let corporation grow it. Now that they can grow it and we have nothing to do it with its ok for you to buy it and use as medicine.

Ah I was hoping for some proper ass whooping for the Con guys mould and electrical wiring dangers will bring down gods furry on us all but the Liberal guy was too fast to hit the election button. The woman was on a roll but this was just a bs interview to get more viewer numbers instead of proper debate.

So all the gov has is mould, electrical problems and smell holly fuck how about you inspect any house that is 30 years old.

Now regarding "organized crime" doing grow rips. LoL 2012 had 30K break and enters in BC alone http://www.pssg.gov.bc.ca/policeservices/shareddocs/crime-statistics.pdf

So having a home is a danger to yourself from being robbed, raped or murdered.

If I were a conspiracy theorist, I might speculate that a big fire disaster where nobody is likely to be mortally wounded could help "reignite" reefer madness delusions. It might even appear politically motivated.

Any tinfoil hat could pick up a similar message from that seemingly staged event. :nono:

Or perhaps someone cashing in on an insurance policy?

I'm no legal guru but...if fire, mould, abuse were / are the issues, then why can't the fact that HC didn't implement an inspection system be brought up in court?

Ok something interesting happened today. Somone I know in Abbotsford got a knock on the door a few weeks back. The city said there was a mj odour complaint (from the police) and they will be back in a few weeks for an inspection. The license was shown originally to the cops when they first came by.

So buddy made sure everything was up and up for the inspection and on the day of the inspection (today) the city called him and said they didn't realize it was a licensed garden so they will not be coming by for the inspection anymore.

I guess with all this legal confusion with the judges orders and the gov flip flopping on how the interpret them, the cities are being cautious not to create legal headaches for themselves.
