Good morning! Hope everyone had a nice weekend! I was out of town all weekend, but came home to the tent lookin just dandy. Everything is starting its final push....plumpin up nicely.

Currently feeding just .2 EC base nutes with drip clean. On Wednesday going to start flushing with an organic tea.

Ohhhh and one thing im rather excited about.....i present to you....Gorilla Glue! Cant wait to get this stuff going

Going to get some pics with lights off this evening. Id say about 10-12 days left.

Interesting - seems to be a liquified/diluted mix of guano and worm poo..? I wonder if there's some credence to this idea that "That good flavor you're tasting is the bat shit?"

(A concept which, FWIW, never really bothered me. Why should [good] flavor from bat poo be any more icky than good flavor from salts? Both have been absorbed/processed/metabolized by the dang plant, so it's not like we're licking the floor of a cave and saying MMMM! ..?)

yeah the plants turn that bat shit into other goodness.. ive had this conversation with as few people and im wondering if its the carriers in bottled nutes that attribute to its not so great flavour. ive used nute lines before where different bud will have the same back note smell because they have been grown with the same nutrients. not sure why but there's definitely something.
im doing an organic experiment for the first time right now. but ive seen organic bud and it definitely has a better taste/smell.

I was able to sample a nice big nug of the glue when I met and picked this up....rolled up a pencil sized doob and WOWSERS

Wait till you see the calyxs' swell and harden off. You'll squeeze the bud and it will be like a rock!
If you can wait..... wait to flush when the hairs on the colas are at 50% red. Flush for 2 weeks or until the leaves are yellow, or whatever color they turn, some turn red or black. You'll have some dense, solid, sticky meds. The gentics just sound sooo tasty.

So ya man, you sampled the Glue...lucky you. Really tasty? It will be a while before I actually get to sample her myself. I need the reports of others to dream about at night until that day comes when I roll a gigiantic doob to the head.

Thanks ODW, its kinda strange this run, as normally these things are about to be chopped right around now, but theyre still throwing white pistols.....kinda stumped. gonna go through and look at my pics from last round and compare.

this is my 5th run with her and usually right at day 60 shes good to go....im on day 56 today. Ohhhh well, refilled rez with .2EC feed of just base nutes and drip clean....

Gonna be ordering a spin pro as well....I ABSOLUTELY hate trimming

Ive had seed runs finish in 8 weeks while the clones took 10 weeks. Then, on the next grow, the same cuts finish in 8 weeks. On the next, 9 weeks.
Sometimes different variables can lengthen or shorten the flower time by a week or 2.
All kinds of factors play into maturing flowers. I think your girls look great and will yield nicely.

I hear ya on the trimmin thing man. The only thing that makes it enjoyable for me is all the sugar trim to make concentrates with.

thanks guys! definitely different this time around. Unc, thats a good thought....it absolutely could be the N from the worm castings in the tea. Might just run .2EC base from here on out.....thoughts?

Typed this up a few days ago but my computer crashed and I forgot until now... I was going to ask ... what temperatures are you running now? If you drop them into the low 70's toward the end of flower you create an environment a little less friendly to N-fixing bacteria, which should eliminate that problem.

Sorry about the lack of updates lately....been busy in the veggie garden since the weather is finally nice. Im going to get some pics tonight at lights off....still feeding .2EC

Right now my lights on temps are around 76-78 and lights off are around 62-65. I swapped my boosters this round trying to reinvent the wheel and I think i zapped em good thus things got set back a week or two.

I actually just ordered 4lb tubs of Jacks Hydro + CalNit.....going to run that entire way through.... .8EC-1.0EC in veg and top out at 1.2EC in flower....multiple feeds daily

Snuck in the tent last night and some took some photos with the ladies sleepin! Today is officially the end of week 9....this strain has never gone that long in my previous runs but i attribute it to my changing out nutrients during flowering.....think too much PK boost....getting alot of foxtailing and longer finish time.

Next run ill be using the same Romulan Diesel strain but will be using Jacks Hydro + CalNit.....no boosters or additives

Got all my veggie seeds planted too!

Decided to go with the following this year
tomatoes: San marzano, Purple Cherokee, Black Krim, Sweet 100, yellow pear, and some gigantic red ones (forgot the name)

Peppers: Jalapeno, California Wonder, Variety of Bell, Cayenne, Cherry Bomb, and Serrano

I also started some Eggplant, Lemon Cucumbers, Squash, and Zucchini.
