Hey guys ive been trying to dial in my technique with my mkIII, and after recovery i have a ton of light golden cotton candy filling my recover chamber.it gets way up on/in the gas recovery port and i am concerned about it making its way into my appion. also its a real pain to clean out/scrape. Any techniques out there for getting the extracted oil to stay in the bottom of the recovery vessel? Thank you guys so much for taking a moment to share.

ps im running a 6x6 recovery pot but i have a 6x12 and have similar results.beauty end product, killer yields just messy!

Dear pnw bb
Would leaving some solvent in the collection vessel make it an easier job to clean out?Or less purge?
If not it should be easier if you take it from there and winterize it, by using pure alcohol as a wash out solvent.

All the best

What instructions are you following and are you recovering down to -22 and then vac'ing down further?
I generally turn the recovery pump off around -20 or slightly less, leaves a bit of solvent in the pot and its easy to scrap out. I think if you recover down to -10 you can pour out.
