MMAR extension?

How can Health Canada pull a date out of there ass and say this is the date you are allowed and after it...Too Fucking Bad.

This is really screwing with a Supreme Court Order...The judges will be PISSED!!!

I hope its not a smoke screen to send the Bulls out April 1/14 to fuck with everyone, cause all kinds of grief, then retract before they end up back in court in front of the judge again.

Really low...if it is.

B

Look at page 43 http://www.mmarcoalitionagainstrepeal.com/pdf/ORDER%20T-2030-13_20140321_OR_E_O_VAN_20140321110555_MNS_2014_FC_280.pdf

Maybe this needs to go back to court for clarification but Sections 1,2 and 3,4 don't seem to be tied to each other regarding the dates. I guess the gov is just splitting hair but this will piss the judge off.

Part of it !
As a result of the court's injunction, the persons who were previously authorized to grow marijuana under the old Marihuana Medical Access Regulations (MMAR), who meet the terms of the Court order, will be able to continue to do so on an interim basis until the Court issues a final decision.

LOL so which is it what the gov is saying or who meet the terms of the Court order. Lol either way this is a Mother of all Cluster fucks.

think gov is telling us how they are attempting to interpret that court order.... but who knows. i assume/hope there will be some clarification soon..

Even though I'm still confused on what is allowed, if you follow the court orders which is all that matters sections 3,4 say you are allowed to keep growing. The gov is saying section 3,4 are not valid if you don't qualify for section 1,2.

Looks like the gov is going to appeal and I think they are going to use the ATP angle to remove the PL's. If you can't posses how can you grow.

I wonder how confused the dogs (RCMP) are?
Health Canada links for Law Enforcement still say nothing about an extension. 11am March 31, 2014.

It upsets me to see the govt web site still telling people they have to destroy their medicine as of tonight.
If people don't have access to icmag or alternative media, how do they get their information?

The problem is, this is a legal issue, and up for interpretation by lawyers from both sides. The interpretation will depend on which side of the original argument you were on. Most likely both sides will need to go back to court and argue there side. Just a legal way to screw with an order.

As for the appealing of the original order...I believe in the supreme court they(the Judges) decide if it will be allowed an appeal or not. Health Canada will have to convince the judge to hear it again, that they have new evidence or they were prejudiced against with a lack of time to prepare or something of that nature.

Bottom Line...You can't appeal a decision based on the fact you don't agree with the final verdict or the courts would be so full of appeals nothing new would have the time to be heard. We will just have to wait and see what happens.

Fingers Crossed its in our favor.

Peace...B

Well you can rule out the "not enough time to prepare" as they were the ones who set the dates. They knew exactly how much time they had to prepare this wasn't court ordered with two months time to get ready.

There's is SO much miss information coming from the gov which is listed on their official sites I can see a whoops ass being handed to them.

Once my company registers a client who submitted their Authorization to Possess, what do I do with this document?

Once the client has been successfully registered, you must send a copy of the original Authorization to Possess document to Health Canada at the following address:

MMAP-PAMM@hc-sc.gc.ca

Once an Authorization to Possess holder registers with a licensed producer, Health Canada will revoke the Authorization to Possess and any associated licence to produce.

Found this on the web site, so if you have applied to any LP, you may be in a different boat?

pretty sure if you ever registered with an LP, your mmar documents were revoked, and you consented to it being revoked.

More indirect anti weed propaganda

http://news.gc.ca/web/article-en.do?mthd=tp&crtr.page=1&nid=832889&crtr.tp1D=1

Quick Facts

  • Marijuana is not an approved drug or medicine in Canada.
  • The Marihuana Medical Access Program, introduced in 2001, went from a few hundred people to almost 40,000 which created consequences for public health, safety and security, as a result of allowing individuals to produce marijuana in their homes.
  • We heard from local mayors, fire chiefs, police officers and community members that there were serious health and safety concerns about the old program.
  • The medical community has asked the Government to work with them and share information.
  • There are potentially serious harmful effects from using marijuana beginning at a young age and it should not be promoted.
  • Youth are especially susceptible to the negative effects of marijuana use, including harmful effects on mental functioning and mental health including psychosis and schizophrenia.
So we got the wont someone think about the children angle here or Marijuana will turn out children into retards. Nice play on mindless people emotions.

Yes this was truly done in an unbiased way with people who are neutral on the cannabis view.

this is the disturbing part of that article for me..

"....We are encouraged by the direction given to Health Canada that licensed producers will share information about physician prescribers with us so it can be reviewed for quality assurance and complaint processes."
Rocco Gerace, MD
President, Federation of Medical Regulatory Authorities of Canada

they going after the doctors.

Better read those contracts that you signed with the LP's then. You might have just signed away your private medical info to be distributed by a private company. Usually HC records are on the high level when it comes to privacy issues.
