My annual cabin party in the PA backwoods is this weekend. There's no cell phone reception or internet where I'm going, so I'll catch up with you fine folks on Sunday night or Monday morning.

I'm presently baked and farting around with packing. I may have made a mistake packing whilst high. Just packed a box of Moon Pies, three bags of chips, a box of donuts, etc. Who needs a change of clothes anyway?

Forecast is 50s during the day and 30s at night, with 70% chance of rain. Somewhere during the festivities I'll find myself blasted and sitting on the porch watching it rain. One of my buddies has this forecast for the party:

Mild temperatures, giving way to increased euphoria in the morning. Low pressure system early in the day will be pushed out to sea by a strong "high". Precipitation of alcohol will be at 100% by early evening. Winds will be smoke-filled blowing directly into your lungs.

Since I gave up the bottle 8 years ago, I'll stick to Mary Jane and enjoy watching a bunch of my friends slowly turn into slobbering idiots.

I used to love the poconos. Place called "The Hideout" in lake ariel just south of the ny border. Wish I was there for a weekend!
