Day 57
Plants now only getting 8ml of A&B, Bud XL and full strength top shooter.
Depending how I am feeling I may run them on the top shooter until day 63. But may stop a day or so before.
Then onto flush for a couple of weeks.
The smell is just immense. Stronger and more penetrating than cheese, dare I say. I am not looking forward to trimming up.

You ever get a funny taste left over from the top shooter I've heard it can taint the buds even with a long flush
You seem to all ways use it in your grows so your insight would be better I e been thi king of trying the gel myself around the time I would add k boost (week 7) then flush for 10-14 days

FOG, I used to use the gel but they changed the gel so now only use the powder.
With the gel you used to have to leave the bottle in a bath of boiling water then shack vigorously for 1 min and then measure out. They then changed it so you can now just dose straight from the bottle with no heating required. I find with the new formula it separates in the syringe before you can extract what you need, causing an imbalance of the solution.
With the powder it works out at 0.65g per Litre for first 7 days of use then 1.3g / L for the final 2 week. However I never use it for the full 3 weeks. Normally just 10 to 14 days.
And I can't say it leaves any taste behind. I have grown the same strains with TS and without and the only difference is yield. I find it doesn't do anything to the flavour, be it negatively or positively.
If it did make things taste odd I hope I would have been told by now. I've met with quite a few from this forum and no one has commented that my nugs taste odd. But perhaps people are being kind.

Nah, you use it every feed, just like A&B, from day 49 ish on a 70-77 day finishing plant.
Wow looking real nice, Herb. They are filling in nicely. How long do you like to run Chem D for? I usually pull around day 67.
FOG, I've smoked Herbs bud in the past and it is absolutely top notch with no chemical or top shooter taste, just pure flavor.

I normally take the chem d at around 70-77 depending on other strains I may be running at the same time. I have taken her as late as 84. I find at 84 you loose a lot of the head and the flavour dulls to a very musky taste, but she is so so so heavy and sedating which is more what I look for.
With this led run I'm mono cropping. And as such she seems the happiest I have seen her. She will have her last feed tomorrow at day 60. So she'll prob get chopped between 74-77.

Thanks for the info herbs I will need 12packs to do 14 days of feeding do you have any idea when they changed the formula on the gel I may try and snag an old bottle if poss

I Better give it a go then I all ways give a good flush myself so I shouldn't have a problem I'm just unsure of the dose I feed very light 1- 1.2 ec is max for me with a 10 day flush of r.o I'm just wondering wether I should go 50% less than recommended dose or just go with the stated dose

I would run the TS at full strength. Well at least at the 0.65g/L then if after the first week you fancy doubling up just do it for say 3/4 days.
If used at their rates, they suggest dropping your base ec to 1.2. So you could perhaps drop it to 0.8. Or even less. The TS will bump a 1.2 ec feed to around 1.6
One thing that I should say is to run at least a few days of feed with no PK additives prior to introducing TS.

SPG. I have used a few flush additives before. Vitrasol, Sugar Peak Grand Finale and another which had the name flush but what it was I can not remember.
Now I just use plain water with a dash of House and Garden Drip Clean. Which I use through I out I may add.
Then in the last few flushes no drip clean. And the very last 2 flushes I won't even ph.
