I would cry over the trim work :( :canabis: but your buds are fucking epic - well done gnome!

Ive already done to major defo's already and I'm constantly trimming here and there every day.
1st defo was before resin showed up,
2nd defo was one sticky mess
but good news is come chop time there's gonna be plenty of scissor hash :smoke:

Looking very nice mr Gnome. How long till chop?
@43ish days now soooooo 60-65 days max to make room for the next round
which is being potted up right now

Always impressive, Gnome.

Do you use any of the bud hardener/ stretch inhibitor products?

Following your lead, I recently used a Sylvania 400w 64488 for seedlings. It's in the same color series as your preferred 1000w lamp. Works great, with excellent growth, lush foliage & nice short internodes.

Thanks for the tip- much appreciated.

I just hit em yesterday with koolbloom,
its been a while since i used it but this round I'm hitting em weekly starting @3wks with FF beastie bloomz

since I started using the 4000K Mh in 12/12 I average less than a foot of stretch depending on strain
so as for your Q on stretch additives.... none.

good to hear your new bulb is working out for ya jhhnn

Just spent the last hour re-reading the whole thread start to finish. Everytime I pop in here I get some new inspiration and ideas.

Funny how certain details tend to slip from our minds. Re-reading great threads like this is always a nice memory refresher :D

I truly take my hat off to you, sir.

I wonder how much better your GPW would be with Hortilux or Ushio Bulbs - opposed to the sylvania.

Props Gnome - can't wait to see more of your work!

Do you have another thread?

well TBH larry Ive run HPS super horti eyes on my keepers and after switching to a 4000K MH the buds were as big or bigger and just as tight or tighter and denser.
with everything ive put into this room if HPS were hands down kickin it better at the end of the day I would be using them.

and yes, I have another thread that's very interesting:smoke:

Gnome,
I don't know how I missed this thread till now. Just read it in one sitting. Prop-isimo, brother. What a room. What *A* room. I'm going to be quite keen on the effect of all that R-outtheass insulation on your midsummer AC usage. And I bet you could fire a rifle inside there with little sound leaving the room. I'll be onboard now cuz I know I'll learn from it. Good luck. -granger

ah thnx for the kind words granger2
but you should recognize some of the R factors in the room,
your the one I bugged all last year on insulating stuff :D
and putting me on prodex, well brother I owe ya big time for that one
I don't understand why people are still using fiberglass batts when this is available,

I'll bet the $$ save on what prodex costs over fiberglass on a build like mine is spent in electricity on the 1st veg-n-bloom run.
my 32,500btu AC is on a dedicated meter,
6000ws on mag ballasts and all the other stuff in the room
the veg18hrs AC bill is under $170, bloom12/12 with the AC set at 67F.... $110

Gnome,
Sweet. Your wise attention to insulation is already paying for itself. From what I've seen, this is very neglected by most when building a room. -granger

How do you get a dedicated meter without tipping the power company?

well without going into too much detail in my own situation there's plenty of ways to do it.
anyone can have a temp power pole put on the property,
you don't need a reason for the elec company to hook up to one.

every new home construction site has one if the overhead lines are close.,
if your doing a major remodel on an existing structure you can drop it in.... easy.
nearly all mobile homes run off of one.
a temp 100-150-200amp pole costs around $200 and up depending what you may want with it,
larger elec companies sell em or lease them.
heck you can build your own if you want.
you plant the pole, usually 14ft with the meter base, breaker panel and mast,
have a building insp. take a look see if it meets code and tag it, call the power co. tell come hook up and your in biz.
or say if your in a 2-3-4 town house situation and have rights to more than 1 each has its own meter base.

this will spread out the operating costs if your op is big enuff to draw attention if your in a non commercial situation.
it just so happens i have access to a couple of meters and put the ac on one of them, i could put more on that meter and i may do it but i just want to know what the ac is actually costing me and the lites and other operations in the actual gro room.
AND
again it splits a $600-$800 cost up for peace of mind if your worried about that aspect.
at any rate it's one less thing to worry about and helps ya sleep really well at nite
