According to BoEL, Maui Wowie was a cross of Lightning Bolt (Sinaloa) and Kula Crippler (Afghan).
Like oldhaole has pointed out, quality genetics of all stripes were and are introduced to an environment that is exceptional for growing high quality cannabis. People looking for Hawaiian genetics to grow indoors in Ohio are missing the point a little bit. Its the environment that has a big influence on the finished product so taking it out of Hawaii or Maui takes away that special element.

Been a looong time since I've gotten a buzz like this. The three week flush really seemed to help too because this oil is fuuuggin' lip-smackingly magically delicious! Tastes just like she smells; lemon-lime and cherry with a hint of pine. I've got a feeling she's going to be in my garden 'till I'm old and gray...or grey if you're British.
