she roots pretty easily , but i wouldn't go much past the first 2 weeks in flower to grab cuts .... the reveg afterthat time frame can be a bitch & so can getting them to root .

Totally true I had my glue for less than 10 days and was able to pull 3 cuts off of it she vegs like a beast. All those little branches at the bottom will fight the main stem to become a top.

KC just wait a week or 2 and you can take cuts before flowering, whats 2 weeks going to hurt ? more bud for you and fresh cuts for a mom or two

The thing is I already flipped to 12/12 a couple days ago. When I received the cut, my og's were already getting out of control and they're still going to stretch 2-3x so I had to flip asap. I vegged the gorilla glue for a bit over a week and it has 4 or 5 nice side branches, so I'm hoping to at least get a few cuts before it starts budding.

if you just fliped them 2 days ago you can toss her back in veg

So you guys advise against flowering it out then? I don't mind if I'm only able to get 1 or 2 cuts for a mother. And I don't really have a dedicated veg area, but I could set something up pretty quick if necessary. If I end up with a foot tall bush with a little bud and couple mother cuts I'd be happy with that. Then get serious with it next run.

if it has a couple branches now go ahead and take a couple cuts then flip it, you wont even miss them the way she grows, theres no way I would flower her unless you have her backed up or can get her replaced easy, to many things can go wrong.

Well im not saying not to flower her but if you wait you can take more cuttings and also send a bigger plant into flowering in return you will have an bigger harvest.... Just something to think about...DSK

I have a pic in my album i haven't flowered mine eather cuz she not big enough i plan on filling the whole room with her

Both excellent points. I'm gonna pull her out and throw her in veg for a couple more weeks. The og's are going 10 weeks anyway, so this way they'll all be done together. I've already given her bloom nutes and moab, will this bee an issue?

If the cuts you take now don't root for whatever reason, you can take more. There's no cut off point in flower when a cutting won't take root. The only thing you've got to factor in is that a cut taken from a fully flowering plant will have to re-veg for a couple of weeks before it starts to grow properly again. But it will.

Edit: I've just read more of your posts and see your cut is 5". I'd grow it bigger before flowering it so there's more clone stock if something goes wrong with the first cuts.

papaduc also has a great threat on taking cut up to chop time...ck it out...i am 100% on cuts this way...but they do have to go through the reveg too..dj

Threw her back in veg next to my mini moms :smoke:

Reeeeal curious to see how much this one yields... she has so many tops she is about 2 times as wide as she is tall...lol
These glues would be PERFECT for a low plant count high yield scrog.
Just flipped her today... got her under a 600 but its maybe 6" away ;)
