ECSD & SSH x SSSDH testers

I have another ssh/sssdh in flower,think she's at about 6 1/2/7 weeks in the pic.

She has a very sweet,lemon pledge smell to her.She's really starting to fatten up now(she's now 9 days)and looks like she'll have a fair bit of bud by the time the chop comes.

Ogdw,i still have a couple of seeds from what i was originally sent, i didn't have room to start them all at once.I found the ssh cross to be much more to my liking than ecsd,so those last couple of beans are treasured.

Lyryc,will get a pic when the lights come on this evening.
I see you've started some chem sis/nevs haze,i've got 4 girls a few weeks into flower.

Cheeers Lyryc,I haven't really taken many pic's of the chem sis/nevs but there are a couple in the neville's haze x'ed to everything thread.
Am well impressed with them so far,most smell of a mix of piney incense and chemmy funk,1 is very chemmy smelling.

Nah Lyryc,the plant shown is ssh/sssdh,in the other thread is the chem sis/nevs.

Stoney k,the sshx go between 11 and 13 weeks for me.The more sssdh leaning plants will go a bit longer than the ssh leaners.I can see a lot of skunk in the more ssh phenos and they also are the stinkers.my ssh leaner was 1 of the strongest tasting plants i've grown,i could still taste for ages after i'd smoked it.

Girls are looking nice!! I'm running some of my #5, and #6 of the ssh x sssdh testers now. I kept both #5 and 6 for mothers and just recently went down to just one for a mother, the #6. Mine also went between 11-13 weeks on my test run. Now that I have them under big lights and ebb and flow w/co2 I'm hoping I can cut a week off from the flowering time. If it works out like I want I should be able to pull Them at 10 weeks as the #5, and #6 both got pulled at 11 weeks.
Now I'm gonna have to go burn some from the tester's, I can hear the #3 jar calling my name.

Cheers f2,did you keep the frosty girl you had and what does your keeper smell like?
My best plant weren't the best in taste,cured out into a pissy/sulphur smell but had a lovely uppy,euphoric,long lasting high.My best taster was much more stony and relaxing but with a nice bit of energy to it.

Here's my #6 plant and the one I kept. It was a toss-up between the #5 and #6 plant as far as crystal coverage goes. The #6 has a lot better structure than the #5. #5's branches were long and the internodes were spaced far apart. #6 smells like lemons and cleaner. Which I believe is a trait from the sssdh. I have quite a few other hybrids with the sssdh as the father, and the smell of my #6 can be observed in my deadhead og x sssdh, original amnesia x sssdh, and pineapple express x sssdh.

Yeah,that lemon cleaner smell def comes from the sssdh side.

I found it kinda became a more chemical lime in the ecsd x which i didn't like at all.
I actually gave away most of the ecsd buds as the taste was not to my liking but those who were given it liked the taste.
I did keep most of the potent 1 as it was worth enduring the taste to get that smashed!

She's at 13 weeks,still no amber but most are now cloudy.Hopefully i'll see some soon!

I wouldnt have imagined that the taste on these were'nt up to par.
Probably from the SSH parent in the SSSDH cross.
I hate SSH in todays genetic field. Its all hay.
I did find the SSSDH pleasing, but nothing I would run again.
Im gonna pollinate a SSSDH with these Blueberry x SweetTooth genetics and see if we cant come up with sumthin special.
I strongly feel these two would go very well together ~

That plant you got there looks might purdy to me! and not finished - you know thats ganna be a big ole stanky flopper at the end of hte day!

SUP jaded1! your bitches look good - sorry they aren't amber yet - for 13 weeks thats a real sore... but i like how patient you are - they still shooting off some new growth to compensate?

The taste thing on the ecsd's wasn't from the ssh,i'd of been happy if some of them had had more hazy smells.
I love ssh,some of the best plants i've ever smoked have come from that line.My prob was the chemical smell which i just don't like,had a similar chemical smell in panama/dc which i also couldn't smoke.It's not a biggie as a few family members were more than happy with it,just not my cup of tea.

yeah she's still getting larger and is still putting out new frost.She looks like she'll be worth the wait!

Jars are starting to look a bit empty,i put her in with some zamalelica's that are at 15 weeks,so hopefully they'll all be done soon.
