Northern California I Need Some Help

I need help locating either seeds or clones in a low THC-High CBD strain. My son is extremely ill with schizophrenia and suffers horribly. He is treatment resistant and currently on the last hope medication the pharmaceutical companies offer. The medication can have such severe side effects that a person prescribed this particular drug is required to be entered into a national registry and have blood drawn weekly to ensure the white blood cell count doesn't drop to dangerous levels.

I have found research online that the indicates higher level CBD strains have proven to relieve psychosis in patients with schizophrenia. I'm so very desperate to locate not just seeds or clones but I would like to find where I can purchase either a tincture, oils or just the plant material.

I've have watched my son suffer everyday for a year now and he's on his 5th hospitalization and 6th medicine just since March of last year. He had been suffering for 2 years before he was diagnosed without telling anyone but the illness became too severe to hide anymore.
He had a such a good start at 17 joining the Air Force and at age 23 had completed his 6 years active duty and he was working as a GS-12. While in the Air Force he served in Iraq, was on the Honor Guard, received his Bachelors degree, Magna Cum Laude in computer science and had such a bright future. Then he was struck down by this awful, devestating illness.

Please post a reply if you know of anywhere in Northern California that I can get seeds/clones, tinctures, oils or dried plant material with high CBD low THC levels. I live 45 minutes north of Sacramento. :cry: I'm so desperate to help him.

Good luck on your search. There are clubs that hold or have these low thc plants just have to find out which. Harlequin ie. Seams to be hard to get exactly what you need for your ailments. But not impossible. Keep after it.

Try calling dispensaries and asking them. I know Southern Humboldt Seed Collective has some high CBD strains. They have a website that lists their authorized retailers.
Check weedmaps.com for a list of Norcal dispensaries. Also try looking up Garberville Grass. I know they have a high cbd clone they offer,as well as tinctures.

I have also heard high THC strains can help with seizures as well. I had a customer report my Blueberry Muffin strain helped him go from 5 or more seizures a week down to 1. His grow/strain report is listed on cannazon.com. It's never been lab tested so I can't confirm cannabinoids. There may still be some seeds of it on seedbay.

Make sure you get your 215 card or these places or wont be able to help you.

Yes he does but I'm not sure how the strains that are higher in THC could exacerbate his symptoms and for how long. It seems to relax him but I would think that something with less THC would be better especially since many people even without schizophrenia become paranoid when using the higher THC strains. I've noticed there is quite a bit of research in that particular area right now. The regular Pharmaceutical medications used to treat the symptoms of schizophrenia such horrible side affects and cause many patients to quit taking their meds.

If you are up for popping some beans, I'd suggest Cannatonic it's a 1:1 ratio of THC:CDB. We are growing it from clones, with good success. It does not get you high, but it has good pain relief and anti anxiety properties.

So he uses 'street weed' with no ill effects?

Most of it is picked before high levels of THC are produced, this does however lower the CBD to some degree

sounds like you are doing the right research, and i agree with lowering the thc would be good. had a good friend afflicted with bi-polar disorder. itsa bitch. yeah, get a hold of a good high cbd strain and see what it does for him. i'll be interested to know. are you an experienced grower? get both of you recs and state cards and get going. we will help you grow what you need.

If your son smokes, keep in mind when you combust cannabis you are burning off and not ingesting up to 90% of the cannabinoids. With another form of ingestion your son may get more benefit medically from the thc and or cbd.

90% loss seems a bit high. Can you please post where you got that number?...Anyone?

i am sorry to hear about your son. i to was on track with my life, my military service during this war brought out a myriad of mental illnesses and ruined me everyday is a struggle i have found out i have bi polar 1, borderline schizo, ptsd, and general anxiety disorder,
i will most likely never amount to much, career wise but i have found a way to cope through each day, many many strains out there do very little good for me most just cause panic attacks, the one i have found to be most effective is from a breeder named Chimera and it is called grapefriut X blueberry it is very balanced chemically for a person that is mentally ill like my self it is not super low in thc and high cdb like you are looking for but it just has the right balance, of both and taken in small doses, you can be very productive,you wont be just sitting on the couch doing nothing could be exactly the thing to help your son i am sure you could find some seeds at an online seedbank grow all the seeds out for testing and keep the one with the most benefit ,keep a mother and you will have meds for years, chimera is a very kind person and i am sure could answer some more questions for you

I feel bad for the guy. who has no idea how to medicate someone... he just knows of words like tincture and needs leaves and has no idea or experience in any of that. Once you get 50 posts. PM me ill help you if i can...

I have lots of cbd strains I have been collecting omrita rx, ac/dc, Juanita lagrimosa,cannatonic, and harlequin they are in seed form I will give you some for free. I live northern California Modesto but I travel north to Oroville and Susanville often.
