I hate trolls.

They ruin my day constantly.

Posting off-topic insulting lies to get folks to pay attention to them is not only irritating but ruins the site. Folks don't like it... and leave the site because of it.

You can help stop this and KILL THE TROLLS.

Instead of replying with some witty response, press the report post button and tell us why you think the post is rude, off-topic, trolling, or otherwise offensive.

A moderator will contact that person in question and attempt to help them. If they can't follow the few rules in the TOU here then they have to leave. Simple as that.

We can't allow the actions of a few disgruntled people to ruin the site.

i thought the reason we post, IS to get somebody to pay attention to us, else, why do we post? not a big fan of the report post button as i consider it a form of snitching, and in my line of work, snitches are frowned upon.

'trolls' irritate us because we enable them. faulting them for our reaction to their behavior doesn't make much sense to me. evry1 knows, if ya don't feed em they die, yet we continue to feed them. we are the ones to blame, not them.

in the end, mod's ban whom they will, icmag aint a democracy after all.

Why when you post something as a joke do people take it so seriourly?

Obviously I have no time for fools who post offensive stuff, or who attack people personally, and they shoud be banned, but some trolls are entertaining.
I mean that guy yummybud could be thought of as a troll, but going by the number of people who want him back he was entertaining and gave people a lot of laughs.

I've had threads shut down due to some of the heirarchy members. They weren't banned but my thread was closed. The problem is people are buddy buddy. Certain cliqs are allowed to troll for sure.

true, there is some of that going on, a couple of mods included, but generally speaking, admin and mods here are pretty level headed and fair, cannot let a couple rotten tomatos ruin the whole crate.

I know too many old timers that have been turned off by this "clique", and admin should look out for that "clique" for sure.
