seriously though, i have to get this off my chest.
normally i wouldn't respond to this apparent troll bait, but i know and respect 2 of you by your work which is why i'm a little taken aback at your cavalier tone. TMB i don't know except for from this thread where he likes to pop up and talk to people like he's their damn father, but i digress.
first off, you might want to look up that word unethical. or at least scroll back and take notice that the reason this is being hashed out in open forum isn't because a bunch of folks unwittingly dropped their hard earned scrill and got some bullshit in return. it's because we made a full disclosure and wanted to get folks' reactions. i appreciate and value your opinions, but you don't have to be a fucking prick about it either. and i don't even know what that off-hand racist "mighty white" remark is suppsoed to mean, but it ain't funny and it pisses me off.
and all this talk about greed? i find it disingenuous. it seems like there's a lot of folks in this thread who are really quick to point a finger and call me a goldbricking piece of shit for putting a sizeable chunk of my life into bringing this strain to the fore, getting a trophy tied to it, and doing what little i have been able to do to pay back the motherfucker who gave it to us all. now i'm into asking for any damn commendation or sympathy. trust and believe that i will be duly compensated for my time and troubles. for instance, i don't need to "cash in on [the] hype." since this trophy hit, people come to me and ask politely to pay 3-8 points more for the same herb i was begging them to take for 24 six months ago.
but before you point your fingers, ask yourself two things:
1. how many of you are in this game for purely altruistic reasons? i don't see too many rick simpsons or greywolf & carlas up in this piece. what i do see are a bunch of guys who got blessed with an absolute fucking gem and who sit around saying shit like "pay it forward," but who maybe haven't done much more. which brings me to
2. what the hell HAVE you done anyway? has any of you pm'd josey and sent him even a lousy $100 or another TRULY world class strain or anything more substantive than a kind word, becasue the last time i checked, the grow store and the electric company don't take thank you notes in exchange for light bills and nutes. just saying.
now based on the respnse i've gotten here, i'm thinking it might be best to hold off on these and wait to see how long the others take to show up. but it's not becasue you all guilted me into it while yelling your insults from rooms fat with glue

Unfortunately, in the market we are in, and especially in California, the costs of producing such herb are quite expensive, and a good portion of the time you really need to market your strain, as did Sunset...this has become a business, and again this industry (in california especially) does not recognize things until some nonsense Rapper makes a song about them, or you win the cup as did BOG, Sunset, Kushman....

our friends at de la creme are doing a nug run of the glue and BAMF's lemon OG for the secret cup. win or lose, it's a huge honor just to have this strain (and my example of it at that) included in such heady company. knwoing how damn good these guys are at what theyb do though, i think our odds of having our name called out again are pretty damn good though.
