WooHoo, last night and the coming 7 days will have low 60* nights. Just in time to fatten up the calyxes

Smell was more noticable and sweeter this morning

First the led buds are almost ready whereas the hot5s maybe 7-10 more days

This morning I replaced 1/2 remaining Quantum 2900s with a new ZooMed Florasun

The sweet fragrance just brushing against the top of the buds to install the new bulb is amazing

Chopped and trimmed the 2 LED clones- ~ 125gms, not bad considering that I ODd them with Sea Cop minerals about a month ago

Melanie (mom of hot5 clones) has been marking time off to the side in the led tent, which has been on 12/12 for ~ 60 days- hence the buds. She hasn't gotten much light

As of yesterday, she is now under the 2 ufo 90s- 3500/5000K. Be interesting to see whether she bounces back to veg

hey guys i am a noob but i am pretty educated as i have had grower friends for a long time and i also have done a lot of research and studying for my first grow, i need some input i originally was going to do a fluorescent and mh for veg not sure wattage yet and was going to do 4 x 1000w hps in flower. well then i thought i would mix hps with mh in flower to get some blue light and i hear mh makes denser bud. now i am in conflict due to seeing some pretty nice proof of good LEDs. so please from experienced growers that produce socal quality herb cuz thats what im used to, i know spoiled but it is what it is!! thanks in advance o and my grow room is goiin in the basement not sure measurments yet but i am blessed that i have a large space to use i am thinkiing of making the flower room around 10x10 or 8x8 thoughts on that appreciated too!

Lighting a 10 x 10 space with leds is going to be roughly $2K if you go with a known quantity, like A 51, excellent least expensive quality grow light made specifically for mj

You can light it for ~ 1/2 that if you are willing to take an educated gamble

or you can light half with A 51 and half with less costly, somewhat unproven panels by growers

I know several guys using similar panels to excellent results

I just ordered 2 of these to supplement my 2 all white ufo 90s for my 2 x 4 tent

I gave you the direction I am going in. Apache is fantastic (uses best of the best) and $$$$$$, the others you asked about are average products/old tech

I have to harvest as a water pipe is leaking gallons of water into my kitchen. completely destroyed the particle board cabinets, plus wall damage

I put off the insurance adjusters until Friday.

Need to remove all evidence as they will likely need to go into that room, which has it's own bath

I took a calculated risk

covered the frame (they're already in a dark room) and shut off the power (lights + rez) in case the adjuster wanted to see that bathroom

Never did, so we're still on, at least until the company I need o hire to find the leak comes

All I need is 4-5more days.

I thought they were near done a month ago and began slow flushing, using only minerals. Finally, a couple days ago I gave them a bit of Epsom Salt (CaMg)

Well this morning I threw in the towel, and gave them a bit of food
