Very happy to bring you all another update:

You can see that the Destroyer x Malawi has begun to pack on so much weight that her top has flopped and she is now tied UP to the ceiling as opposed to DOWN to the floor. Destroyer x Chocolope #1 is visible fattening up on viewers right.

This is the first time my camera was able to capture the resin developing on the Oldtimer's Haze. There are about 8 to 10 spots on this plant that look like this, with calyxes starting to swell and mature. She is at almost 15 weeks of flower and will probably go another 4 to 5 weeks.

The rest of the Haze plant looks more or less like this:

I take back any bad things I said about the Destroyer x Chocolope #2. She is looking great, healthy with no deficiencies and starting to add weight to the flowers. Not as much resin production as her sisters but the smell has become a sharp citric cleaner smell with a hint of anise and spice, really great. She is at 7 weeks but will probably go 4 more.

Daily Double!

Destroyer x Malawi, really adding weight as I said. Nice resin and more fruitiness to the smell, very sweet carrot mango aroma, with some spice. She looks like she is maturing and will need another two-three weeks, but depending on how long she flowers for, she might be a candidate for a pure sativa outdoor at 44N. I can only imagine how massive she would get outside in full sun, since the clone is already 2.5 feet tall.

For the first time I'll focus in on the Panama a little more. She is developing nicely and now is healthier looking than all the rest. She smells very nice, lemon and incense as the breeder (Ace) describes. She might actually be a 'Red' pheno but its hard to tell indoors because she will need UV light to produce the pinkish pistil, so we'll see on the clone.

kitty also go hair on your buds :(

BUT SO SEXY MAN!!! :canabis:

can't believe for 15 weeks of lfower thats all that plant has? I thought sativas are just huge overall so its hard to grow them - not low yielding - but teach me - And the chocolope x destroyer why only 11 week flowering? is it a cross?

I love the whole tent shot man - with the traditional main cola dominant plants down low and the vine trellising hazes all over the place

THUMBS UP! :good:

I know the indoor tent tends to get a little hair on the buds but I don't really mind. I need an intake filter.

The Haze just seems to take its time. This is the source of the difficulty, because she never really stops stretching and the flowers take so long to mature. I see people in the ultimate sativa thread talking about 16 weeks being a jaw dropping flowering period, but that will be next week for this plant and she definitely could stand to go to 19-20 weeks. I bet a larger specimen wouldn't be finished until 24 weeks. It looks like the flowers mature in some places and not others, so a harvest of a large plant would be spread out over a few weeks.

I used chocolope as a father because of the strain's short flowering time, taste/smell, and sativa effect. The Chocolope father has produced offspring that I just love, almost completely sativa effect and exactly 8 weeks of flowering time (Chocolope x C99), and the smell is just like honey melon candy, so great. The problem is that I open pollenated in two different instances on the same mothers, first with Chocolope and then much later with Malawi to produce seeds in the calyxes that developed later. The result is that I have to use informed intuition as to the father of whatever seeds I germinate. The chocolope smell is unmistakable, and very dominant, even when it combines with
the spicy woody Destroyer smell. The leaf shape is recognizable as well. I suppose I just have a range of flowering times in the F1 offspring, because malawi flowers to 11 weeks, Chocolope to 9 weeks, and destroyer 8-12 weeks. The plants with obvious chocolope heritage, like the Destroyer x Chocolope #1, sometimes speed through flowering.

The tent is coming along. The smell is very strange and nobody who smells it can tell its marijuana, but instead ask what the smell is. It reminds me very strongly of the green wood from a service berry bush. Its the smell from the destroyer crosses, which are the most powerful, and they have a sharp citrus bite thats very pleasant, with undertones of durban poison like anise.

Most of the fan leaves in the tent are yellowing, the crosses seem to be finishing up. The haze will probably take another four/five weeks, its STILL forming brand new flower clusters, and the clusters that formed earlier have taken 8 weeks to mature and are still not finished, so to get her to the end might be a long wait.

Everything else will be harvested within two weeks (probably)

Thanks man. The haze looks like it is going to be a bitch to trim, so more than likely I will do either a large batch of coconut oil in a crock pot or distill a portion of it into BHO
