I am no outdoor expert.

I put my plants out in April. The first time I ever grew outdoors I put my plants out March around the 16th and they grew beautiful and huge.

1ft or taller clones. Right now I've got 2 2' plants that are ready to go out as soon as the night time temps get above 50, more around 60.

From what I believed as long as the days are progressively getting longer she'll veg. We just had daylight saving so we should be fine as soon as night time temps pick up some.

Flowering actually begins and veg. ends June 26th that's when the day time hours turn around and the days start getting shorter.

If you suppliment the lighting from this point until august you can get an extra month of veg before you have to start flowering to beat the cold weather of November.

This is all shit I've taught myself. I could just be wrong as fuck. But It seems to be working for me.

Think your a little off with the flowering dates. I don't notice the big stretch until late July beginning of August. That's also when I start to see the female flowers just starting to get going on clones and seed plants. So to me I would think around mid July most strains trigger to flower.

Also keeping lights on till August I would worry I wouldn't be able to get my lady's in before the shitty wether comes.

Also with clones June 1st is usually the date we can put them out without fear of flowering. But most strains actually can go out a little earlier than that. Problem is if they do go into flower then to revege you lose precious weeks in the whole revert process. So why not wait a few weeks till we know for sure everything will be good to go.

With seed plants I feel safe putting em out mid May without having any issues.

This is all my personal opinion from what I gathered through the years. And not try to be mean just giving my thoughts

You are correct in the the fact that yes, you are wrong.

Maybe traditionally, I'm wrong, but I know for a fact I've put plants out before long before June and never had a flower reveg problem. I've been doing it that way for the past 5 years.

Tosser! you made Me spit my drink all over my ipad! Lol
LOL!

but seriously though.....

I have put plants outside as early as April 1st with no problems. But then again I've seen clones put out in June start to flower. It is very strain dependent i think. We had a few Cherry Pies flower last year in the last week of june!

maybe it all comes down to good old lady luck. But i agree with the general consensus that it's best to keep outdoor plants in veg mode (indoors or with supp lighting) until June in order to reduce the incidence of pre-flowering as much as possible.

We are getting biohazard suits to deal with the poison oak this year...
:laughing::laughing::laughing:

...seriously.

Try Tech Nu soap it works good for poison oak

I got my 'breaking bad' green suit lol, I wear it when I do any kind of foliar feeding so I don't take a bath in nutrients, it gets hot inside of those suits though!

Also I put clones out in late may/early june, but I crack seeds outside in late february/early march.

Looks like This won't be a joint project anymore. Schrews and I have decided to split ways dude to personal issues(mostly), as well as the fact that Mariposa has just limited the number of scripts to two and maximum number of plants at 24 with 12 per person living on the property. As of today, this ordinance just passed.

THAT is a huge bummer............sorry I've been lucky enough to have one GREAT partner who I ran an indoor with for 4 years and made a lot of money...never had ONE problem with him.

Good luck to BOTH of you!

the only partner situation i think works well is silent investor that doesn't question expenses + good trusted grower. otherwise, either money or difference of opinion fucks everything up.

very sorry that ordinance got in your way, that sucks. i hope those glues pull through for ya.

Drue Bleam and I will continue working together, and since he posted already about the 24-plant ordinance i will share our new plans for our main garden if it passes

-16x 500gallon smarties w/ vermifire soil
-8x 200gallon smarties w/ coco
(strains are undecided but will include a fair amount of Gorilla Glue)

In addition to our main garden we have an opportunity to grow 99 full-season plants on a friend's property in the 951, which is good because we already have a bunch of seeds popped. We are thinking for that garden we probably do 65gallon smarties with whatever good soil is available in the area

An indoor garden is being set up in the 951 as well, only 4kw but it will all be Glue and OG.. big things in the works for Motherlode Gardens. next step, renting a low-key spot to run a bhogart and a vac oven.

anyway here's some Gorilla Glue babies chillen in the sun... these girls might be quite large by june.
