*The K.I.S.S. Method*

If I wanted to use Floranava instead of Maxibloom, which bottle should I go for? I think liquid would be better for me... Thanks

The only thing about FNB is that you have to shake that shit like mad. Only nute I have ever had experience with that required so much fucking shaking. Something like Ionic 1-part would still be in the KISS method vein but without the violent convulsions in order to mix the shit. FNB is a brown goup. Don't get me wrong...FNB is awesome, but for my time...I'm going with Ionic next time just to save myself some fucking hand/arm seizures.

Except a big mess on the resevoir unfortunately. I hated that shit. If im gonna use a GH product im using Maxigro with a bit of Maxibloom mixed in during flower.

I had many problems with many different nutes.......until I switched to the Snype method TM*. Every hydro setup I have ever run, Including the one in the hydro forums made by Blazeoneup....they all didn't mix the system enough ie: they didn't recirculate the water volume fast enough of well enough. Ever since I made my Snypemobeel TM* I have seen nothing but clear res....that running FNB....now....like i said....the shaking part on the other hand.....such a bitch....

Veg + Bloom. That's it. Better than Maxi for Kiss. Its a powder as well. I also ran nova for a time, needless to say no gym needed for a workout. Filthy in the rez too.

Veg + Bloom is NOT K.I.S.S.
Maxi is better for KISS because it is KISS, and it gives better results throughout the grow than veg + bloom.

I am already using Ionic nutes. How would you rate Ionic vs. Maxibloom? I am trying to use up the Ionic that a bought a bit ago, and was just wondering what everyone thought of it compared to the KISS method-i.e Maxibloom? Thanks for the input

Out the tap my water is 35 ppm, I got the normal ionic nutes and had to add cal-mag for the bigger ladies. I understand they make a softwater formula tho. Never ran it head to head with mb. Had great results with it tho needless to say.

Well maybe you can start your own thread on ionic nutes, and do a side by side, and stop trolling this thread, which is not about ionic nutes.

Hello everyone
Thanks for all the info....lots and lots of info....
1st grow
Inside box 2'×3'×5'height
Temps 60 f to 80 f
Humid. 40%
Small fan blowing on it
Exhaust 135 cfm . Passive intake
Buku fem seed 4 weeks from popping in 9 liter coco/perlite hempy.
under 2 x 42 watts cfl 6500k 18/6 . kiss style.
Full strength feeding+cal-mag+silica for 2 weeks now..
Fimmed 5 days before pics. think I have 4 colas. Think I'm looking good. I know short and bushy is good but is this too bushy...
Would like to lst but kinda scared to get in there and tie anything to my baby...
Will go under a mars II 400 led and 13× 16 watts of 3000 k led bulbs(gradually) for flower...
Advice on how much longer to veg ...
How soon can I clone?
Any input would be appreciated...
Thanks in advance...

We all get that Ionic is not Maxi. But isn't this the kiss thread? How much simpler does it get than Ionic? Thought the whole point of this thread was all about simple one part solutions? Since Ionic bloom 3-2-6 works from seed to harvest (and mixes a damn lot easier) seems like a qualified candidate for kiss, no? Considerably more expensive than Maxi but I'd still like to hear from anyone that's used both to compare. I imagine the powder maxi is also more stable for long term storage for light users too (pure assumption, please advise). I understand people wanting to call Lucas formula kiss (multi parts... Not one part). And I get that some like cns17 almost require cal-mag (thus not one component really). But Ionic with either tap around 120ppm works, it works with well water as high as 250 ppm with some runoff. So why not?

First post, also new to flora maxi, as well as indoor growing (vegging third indoor crop presently), and growing in general (only my 4th grow to date).

Veg + Bloom sucks ass. Stop trolling

I was of the assumption that KISS was about keeping things simple. So why would Veg + Bloom not fit the mold? It seems a little simpler than the other methods mentioned actually because mixing appears to be easier.

I'm quite new at this growing thing, but not so much to simplicity. Any chance someone could explain why it doesn't fit?

And why does Veg + Bloom suck ass? I went shopping for Maxi Bloom & found it, but was steered toward the Veg + Bloom because it's supposedly a superior product. I've personally never compared the two, but my plants did suddenly experience a growth explosion once I switched over from some Biobizz stuff. It also resurrected a plant I was sure I would have to yank. Not that this wouldn't have happened with Maxi Bloom, but I can't tell that story.

Anyone?

I have experience using both this nutes Maxibloom and Veg+bloom.

it's two good working formulas. and suitable to be named KISS

Benefit of maxibloom is price and what it's work almost on any types of water. RO\tap.
But maxibloom have an difficulties with dissolving. Some time with different water source I see Ca deficiency.

V+B is also fine. But more critical for water quality especial soft\RO water version.
hard and dirty version is more flexible for water supply.

V+B easy to dissolve, have a nice lemon smell :)

But V+B is more expensive than maxibloom. At late flowering have an issue with high level of Nitrogen. Now it's solve with product "+size" or you can add any PK booster as well. (maxibloom users also add some PK boosters)

One more thing what I want to add from my side.
I don't know but with V+B my yield little bit increase and buds have more thichs than with Maxibloom.

i have just started to use maxibloom and find it dissolves quite easily...for my main res i turn on circulation pump and sprinkle maxi on top and it dissolves within a minute. for mixing smaller quantities for hand watering i stir water to get it moving then sprinkle maxi, i get some settling on the bottom but another quick stir/agitation and it also dissolves....

only problem i ever have is in dwc it won't hold ph as well as cns-17+KB dry. cns ph's itself for me.

but it always kills it in coco. i don't even ph it and starting with 6.0 tap i water coco at like 4.5 and don't see deficiencies under 75w/sqft.

maxi+coco and knowing how to water = KISS.

The reason people think MB is hard to dissolve in water is because they are doing it wrong.

You add the MB to a gallon of tepid (room temp) water. It dissolves quickly, easily and completely. Sometimes Ill have to fli[ the jug over and give the bottom a couple whacks to dislodge any undissolved material but it is usually very little if any.

Don't use hot water.

Pour the MB into a gallon of water. Let it settle, I fill 4-5 gallons at a time so by the time I am finished, most of the MB is fully dissolved. A quick flip, tap & shake and you're all set.

I have very soft water. It tested at 50ppm with my Hanna meter. I had to use cal-mag supplement or I would get severe Ca deficiency in flowering. Someone told me it was unnecessary with MB as it contains enough. I was skeptical but tried it without the cal-mag. No problems with deficiencies @ 7g/gal.

I use nothing but MB and either pH up or Protekt (for pH adjustment). Throughout veg & flower at 7g/gal. Its simple, inexpensive and effective.

People will always buy the "cannabis specific" plant foods and snake oils. If one part is good, ten part must be TEN TIMES AS GOOD!!!

The more experience I get, the less shit I need.

Yeah. So, mix the MB in a GALLON of ROOM TEMPERATURE WATER.
