funny enough i just tasted the TAR from my pipe.I have a 8 inch small glass pipe, interestingly the resin did taste SIMILAR to the weed that was smoked in it.I bought the pipe about a month ago and have smoked at least an ounce or two out of it.
Funny that this thread is still going.I see good threads asking for help,without responses.It amazes me just how many people follow the crowd and ripped on this dude for gifting his pipe resin.

People love to feel better about themselves by putting others down. It's been this way since the beginning of time. I "gift" as well. I save my half smoked bowls I cash out in ashtray. When it gets full, I put it in a bag and offer it to whichever of my buddies shows up to visit first. I do the same with roaches, give away big bags of them. I haven't smoked resin since highschool, or broke apart roaches, etc.. but why waste it when somebody would be happy to have it.

Strawdog was also a Media/PR person in real life.
6 months into his newbie posting history on OG he got together an e-book gleaned from info/posts on OG. He did get permission to publish BOG's photo's and some others but not the info he published.
He parlayed the modest success of his e-book into a contract with Amazon to sell hard copies of his books:
The Cannabis Grow Bible and The Cannabis Breeder's Bible by Greg Green
strawdog used his marketing skills to make a hugh fortune from these 2 books while knowing next-to-nothing about the subject and becoming a 'verified expert' overnight.
Meanwhile, ~shabang~ has to sell OG to to CannabisWorld 'cause he can't afford to keep it going!

I assume that to be the case when I post on any forum - don't post anything that shouldn't be in the public domain. Absent that assertion, I assume copyright remains with the poster.

I guess I will feed the trolls. Lots of hate coming at me for giving shit away instead of throwing it away, haha!! Sorry I'm not balling so hard I can just give away my buds I worked so hard to grow, and trim away. My close friends do get some smoke for free, but I just don't give the shit away to everyone. Let's not forget about the risk either, I live in non-med land. Furthermore if by some anomaly of nature I ran out of smoke, my buddies that grow would hook me up, as I do for them. But to give my smoke to just any bum that stops by is retarded. I know you guys are best friends with every single person you know that smokes, that's cool.

Lots of these comments remind me of a guy I know who's too lazy to grow his own and expects me to give him all my best buds for just about nothing- pure craziness!!!! It's ok though, keep hating. I will continue to do what I do and make people happy.
Ohh, almost forgot. I have been in the situation where I didn't have any smoke, in highschool. I was happier than fuck when someone gave me a bag of roaches(even though they had a shitload of weed). I'm not a loser who expects anything for free, never have been, never will be. Maybe all the haters in this thread can snap pics of the giant bags of killer nugs they give away for free, so you can feel that much better about yourself, and show how much of a better person you are than me.

Those who have quit smoking cigarettes know what it feels like to come across a "pretty good looking" butt on the street. It's sort of a cut off point: either you have to force yourself not to pick it up and smoke or you congratulate yourself for not wanting to pick it up and smoke it. It's great to get to the second reaction and proof that you had a problem.
This feels the same. Roaches? If you're willing to put another person's saliva in your mouth without getting sex as part of the exchange, if seems like a problem. How about saving the last half inch of your cigarettes and handing out baggies of them to homeless people desperate for a smoke. They might like it but it still seems wrong.
