Clones (rockwool) - Soil to Hydro ??

Hi there . I need some opinions pls.
I got these cuttings .(got 4 mothers that i cut from)
in rockwool cubes . (i get roots poking trough the RW in 7-10 days , so cloning aint a problem)

I do Airophonics/Hydro , but its temps are still a tad high for hydro , so i stuck the clones in soil to keep them going in the high temps .
We expecting some temperature drop in about 2 weeks . .and then we want to get the hydro going again.

So my question / options are .

A. remove soil and rinse rockwool cube , cut back roots and go hydro

B. Keep them in soil and clone of them .

How many people have done this successfully from soil to hydro . whats the cons ??

Put what u have in a fabric smart pot. Place the bottom of the pot at the water line.
Assuming u use hydroton?

hmmmmm , the idea is to go hydro(tried and tested method)

my gutt feeling ??... cut the top and make clones (they,ll be ready in a week)
and leave the bottom leaves and veg the soil remains for some more clones later .

but if .... remove dirt , soak and flush rootball (thats inside rockwool) and transfer to Hydroton in netpots works fine i might do that rather . cause i already got a solid rootball inside the rockwool

(usualy i just aeroclone and go mediumless , just stick the rootball in netpots and way to go )

I did this this time, lost at least a week due to stress...it is hard work, soil just does not want to go off roots...you will loose about half of roots while rinsing...wouldnt do it again :p

Hi Jedi,
Currently veg in Hydro (flood and drain) and transplant to soil @ 12" with little signs of stress. I found transplanting from soil to dwc, my girls remained dormant for approx. 1 month while new of different roots took hold. It can be done but not without stressing the shit out of your plants resulting in poor yields. Hydro shops carry root hormones which I found helps but personally not worth waiting an extra month.
