50 days and done?

Okay i have one strain that goes 50 days and shows amber trichs.I chopped one of them at day 50 a week ago the smoke was fantastic.I got a little busy and let one run a little longer to day 65..Long story short i found two nanners!!

Ive grown and cloned this strain mutiple times and always harvested at day 50.Could running it too long cause nanners?Hope nothing got pollinated.Honestly at day 40 almost all the buds show 75% red hairs and cloudy trichs.

I have two more strains that run 60 - 70 days in the same room.I have never seen a seed company sell a 40 to 50 day flowering time strain.Does anyone else have a photoperiod that flowers this fast?

The yield from this strain is low.A three foot plant only gives up two ounces.But..The smoke is some of the finest ive had or seen. The taste and smell is explosive.

For sure leaving some strains 2 weeks longer to harvest can cause hermis. Also, some strains do finish in 50 days, but in my experience, they tend to be very lackluster.

dont have the camera available but here is a recent pic
album.php

This strain is def not lackluster.Several people that have smoked it said it was the best they have ever smoked. The smell and taste is explosive dense hard small nuggets.Orange, pepper, blueberry, and cream.

I can try to take pics of finished bud on cell phone till i get the proper camera back. After trimming it i found about 4 nanners. I have no idea about genetics.A friend of mine that gave me the seed got it from out of state in a package. This friend said the grower we got the seed from said that it could have been blue dot.All i find about blue dot is clone only does anyone have anything to add about that?

It's easy, just go to your album and open the pic, then copy the second image link (at the bottom) and paste here.

Hmmm, with special techniques and improved routines--I have successfully reduced flower time on certain genetics by several weeks (9-10 weeks to 7-9 weeks) with fully mature, loaded and potent flowers.

Among other things, these two changes are probably responsible--the use of certain water soluble nutes to achieve early flower formations (7-10 days after flip) and dialing in enzymes (I dropped Hygrozyme for Bio-Cozyme by GrowMore...IMHO, better and more affordable!). TEST, TEST, TEST...is part of the solution too!

Cheers!

well good to see this thread, I just cut z99 3 ' down at 46 days showing milky= cloudy and amber, all brown hairs. thought I was seeing things, report back was =HOW SWEET IT WAS lol. time I mostly cut at is in the 60 to 65 day range so fuck it I have got my eye on it this time , I have no idea what happened only diff was I used a 600 gavita.

noyd thanks for the feedback..If it was a cutting it may be that they are finishing faster then the seed because of age.

The first time i ran this strain it took more time. But i started in on 12/12 cycle from seed. When we flower plants that are immature it takes alot longer to initiate budding.my oldest cuttings always show bud sites in week one of flowering. The first time around for all the strains it took around twelve days to really start to see bud sites. So sexual maturity seems to have a big impact on flowering time.Great discussions.

Yeah, I like 60 Day Wonder....one of the 1st autos I tried years ago...in part due to the Williams Wonder/ indica mix. Still a good staple...hybridized it with another quick finishing auto. Nice!

60 Day...it's not large, but potent!! Not all plants need to be humungous (talkin' autos, folks) to kick some butt! Pink Bud did the same...was finished in 58 days...2 toke oblivion!!

I like those in amongst potted grasses/flowers (annuals for color, diversion)....no one sees them, even up close!! Love it!
