Compact soil, high heat....did you not read his list of problems???
Nitrogen deficiency is not a symptom of high lamp tempos, watering and severely drying out. That's probably another in the list of problems....nitro...but foremost...soil compaction/ high heat.

Yeah, I've jumped in before reading EVERYTHING....came back and snipped at me, too!

No problem here, GG. It's all in the learning curve of being better horticulturalists. There were definitely a multi-faceted problem with lordknicles' grow. Not having pics, I asked pertinent questions to best give him a direction to go/grow. Any with each response, a layer was peeled revealing the problems faced.

FIRST ....needed a good well balanced soil that is aerated. Not garden soil from outdoors.
SECOND....light not frying the plants, making soil hard as a rock, plant not able to withstand heat and compacted soil. Choking the plant and ability to grow.
THIRD...probably the start of nitrogen deficiency (which you mentioned...thumbs up!)....stemming from FIRST....good soil not available.

Just like the fellow with EPA breathing down his neck....had he read, had he asked for guidance, had he labeled things correctly....EPA wouldn't be looking into his 'claims'.

It's all good...learning from mistakes makes us better!!! I did not mean to infer you were unknowledgeable. If I did, apologies.

here we are again people!!
i should mention aridbud for the nice and no-doubt biggest collaboration i ever had in this subject. He has been a "teacher" for me and as he said in previous post, ill try again with other seed because the plant is gettin totally yellow and im very worried about it..
i dont know yet why, maybe the soil values nothing, maybe the 500w light too much above(40 cm) that choke the plant...maybe my overwatering but i doubt-it.....

guys this experience gave me more trust and more skills to get better and next times i ll do things easier than before...

thanks again guys, one at one, that has tried to help for my baby....
i will update you day by day depending the situation....

a special greeting for aridbud because he has been a good person for these last days!!
thanks at all and peace people!! all experiences give us an other chance to improve ourselvs and get better!! remember it anytime!!

Peace everybody there!!

It's all cool Aridbud, it's not you it was me putting my foot in it. I do know the basic def but it's the more complex things or looking past what's clear to see and figuring out soil temps heat stress is locking something out. I am learning and your a good mentor explaining things in detail, I hope you can stop by my first auto grow and give me some advice to,

I hope lord you get your baby sorted, there's no better feeling then smoking your own bud:)

lordknicle-
You'll get the hang of it all....and be a good grower. You just need to fine tune with soil, light....the rest will be fine!!!

My first attempts back in the late 1970's were not successful indoors or out. Planted near salt cedar....had light issues from used HID equipment. The next grows, I learned from what I did wrong....the rest is history.
