Damn! Thanks for the heads up. Yeah, I needed to hear that. That will help me to err on the side of not vegging long enough as opposed to vegging too long. Thanks man! :tiphat:

Yeah, I think it's likely that a 3 week veg will be enough.

Lol! Run away plant.. wow that one stretched! Good advice Dansbuds! Same here too Hush. Right after high school in 98.. funny thing was that I started not just with growing but crossing and breeding. Started smoking in late high school and read a lot of cultivation and breeding info back then by the same in OG and CCulture. In fact I ordered Bogs grape punch from Emery and then they raided him so I never got my beans... I actually forgot my handle name on og. I will be setting up hempys for outdoor peppers as a trial..

I topped the plants this morning, to encourage branches to grow.

Hello Hush,

Foremost, nice setup. I can see great plants arising from that.

Are you familiar with Mr Nice's version? How do you think they compare?

I've seen some high yielding phenotypes that reward very sativa-ish buds from Mr Nice's version. Awesome plants, one of my favorite smokes.

I'll stay around to see how yours develop. ;)

Regards,

TheZ

Thank you Zientist. I am not familiar with Mr Nice's version. This is actually the first and only SSH I've ever grown, and it came to me as a single freebie seed. I've never flowered her out yet, so I can't even comment on the characteristics of this one. Based on her looks and growth characteristics while in the mother cabinet, though, I expect good things!

I have heard, though, that the one that Dinafem sells, the one I have here, is an S1 of the Mr. Nice strain. Not sure how true that is.

It quite likely, since Dinfem makes S1 of everything good they can find or that is hyped. I've heard good things about some of their strains. I tried two different Moby Dick plants. One was STRONG as fuck . I didn't care much for the high, major munchies and stoned warm-headed feeling. The other was a bit more introspective and was quite enjoyable, although sometimes too narcotic.

Let's see how yours develop. :pimp3:

It's a 4" inline centrifugal, 165 cfm, by iPower.

Hey hush! Lookin' good!

Question for you - Are you also venting your tent through the cooltube?

I used to run a wye splitter, one end on my light hood and another on the top of the tent.

Just recently switched to a single line, venting tent and light through the hood. I figured I could keep my light temps lower while still pulling the same volume from the tent.

Have you done this with more than 400w?

Actually yes, I also use a single stage setup in my 4x4 tent with 1000 watts. It seems to work just fine if there is proper airflow. In this case, I am not using any circulating fans because the space is so small that it seems unnecessary. But in the large tent I use circulating fans.

So far so good. Running at about 630W now, same cooling setup.

I did upgrade to a phresh hyperfan yesterday though  The modded stanley blower has nothing on the phresh fan.

Yep, I used to rock a modded Stanley blower, and I know exactly what you mean. ;)
