So then recently we have been dropping bulbs in between plants for extra light and seen great results from doing this.
So on the last one I got a light meter on the job to see how much of a difference it was actually making and the results were interesting. Because none of the light from the bulbs was reflected light they were in a sense the most efficient lights in the room so I got to thinking......... We didn't want to just drop loads of bulbs in with no reflectors cause this would mean using loads of reflective sheeting to catch what was going out towards the walls so this is what we came up with
Originally the plan was to just have 6, 3 either side but then we realised that it would leave a dark spot on the end so instead of going up to 8 and having to re spec ventilation etc we just added 1 so 4 one side and 3 the other. Another test we have incorporated into this room is the side with 3 are white parabolics and the side with 4 are silver parabolics so we will see which are the better shade if any.......?!?! Plants and system to follow.........
