This means nothing to me (and probably you either) but the unique one to cannabis is: (m-mentha-1,8(9)-dien-5-ol)
Kool! Is there any information regarding how much is typically present and its medical properties?
I don't believe there is a whole lot of information or research around it so far... and to be honest, there is probably a large chance that other unidentified terpenes (that may or may not be unique to cannabis still exist undiscovered).

It was noted in 1973 as a small fraction of Lebanese hash - it looks like that is all. This is the same semi-famous research involving semi-famous German chemist Egon Stahl naming caryophyllene oxide as responsible for alerting the hash-detecting cocker spaniel.
Based on how little we know about what the rest of the essential oils comprise, I'm betting that it is safe to say there most probably are more to be discovered.

i misunderstood.. i thought u were saying that theres 1 terpene.. not theres only 1 terpene that is only found in cannabis.. sry..

i know Aryan and franco with GHS do a lot of work with terpenes.. they mite have crappier genetics.. and is really just others doing his work for him. but they are involved with trying to figure out whats going on with terpenes.. i had a long convo with franco a few years ago. and he is a smart dude..
Dr Justin Fischedick (Fis CHED ik) is doing post doctorial work in the field of cannabis terpenes at the University of Washington. We had him as a guest speaker and were totally blown away.

X Tracted is about as SHADY as Theclearconcentrate. So I wouldnt put it passed them to be putting food terps and colors in there shit!!

Yeah the waxing up part confuses the heck out of me.. They seem to have some great looking product, and Im glad they are using super clean research grade solvents, even the Propane I hear is super clean.... But, why is everyone gettting wax? Propanes lower BP would make it easier to purge, hence the prepurged samples testing at only 2000ppm. So maybe they just have super sappy, terpy oil that needs to be stored properly....But if thats they case wouldnt packaging and storage be one of their top priorities? Just seems sketchy to me a bit.
The other thing I noticed is the "stable" prepurged patties look almost Whipped theyve been boiling to violently, and even when they are breaking up the prepurge "shatter" some parts looked like they were already kind of waxing, and then they went and crumbled it up even more violently smashing it into pcs and then obviously back to heat & vac purge....so maybe thats it? meh..
They tried to pull what most canned butane companies pull, when they 99.9% n-butane, they leave out that it is mixed with nice 10-30% propane, etc lol so it is only stating half the facts, and yes kind of misleading...but still not many others are using research grade n-butane and propane thats solid.

In all reality there is not much, if any difference at all between the latest super pure canned butane and the more difficult to obtain bulk containers in terms of overall nasties. Of course, food grade must be maintained for accredited commercial applications, but it's not guaranteeing what you believe...
I haven't seen any bulk butane residue testing results posted anywhere... I'm in California, and am a little paranoid about getting close enough to a closed looper to get a sample of his bulk butane to test. But still I look forward to the bulk butane tests, as I doubt ANY of the bulk grades of butane are any cleaner as far as non volatile residuals than the best canned butanes like Ronson and Zippo.

The nice thing about the bulk tanks is that you can transfer the butane as a gas and leave the possible MO in the tank, and then return the tank to the supplier. I didnt find any MO in my terp when i transfered this way.
