RBE i think you should clarify that you mean using a closed loop system indoors when you say blast indoors, could be a little more clear ;)

open blasting inside is suicide

Speaking of ventilation, anybody seen these yet? http://www.extractoutfitters.com/#main

I would have to see more detail on what they are doing with the butane vapors in such an enclosure, but I was impressed noting that they have a pressure relief valve in their system, which many of the suppliers do not.

Good point on the open blasting and need for clarification on open forum!

We use a little different design for our automated Mk II extraction cabinet. It is a sealed cabinet, with vents along the bottom to outdoors, and the cabinet pressurized by a 2,500 cfm squirrel cage fan ducted from a distance, and blown in the top of the cabinet.

As butane is heavier than air, it vents the butane fast, but we also regularly check every connection on all of our Terpenators with a hydrocarbon detector, to fix leaks before losing valuable butane.

All of our JIC hose connections use copper crushers instead of polymer seals, for low temperature operation and seem to maintain good seals over a wide range of temperature.

None of the pumps or the tank is in the cabinet with the Terpenator, and are housed outdoors under cover.
