Anybody using ogbiowar to treat spidermites? If so do you get a white residue on leaves, kinda looks like pm after it dries.

Damn I know this is not a difficult question, somebody out there is using ogbiowar. All I need to know is it supposed to leave a powdery residue on leaves? I'm assuming it's the beneficial's covering the leaves in some type powder base? Also doesn't seem to effect spider mites at all. I foliar sprayed at 1/2 teaspoon to a liter, to this I also added floralicious plus at 1ml ltr.

The white residue is the Talcum Powder carrier. It will knock out spider mites easy. I have been bug free since using it. Gotta make sure the humidity is up.

The white residue is the talc carrier, it's not an issue. You can strain the mixture next time before you spray to avoid it.

Spider mites usually require other methods to deal with successfully.

I've used OGbiowar successfully to treat spider mites in soil. Eradicated them from my grow. Great alternative to toxic pesticides.

Depends on what you used, Marrdog. I think they recommend that you use both the foliar and root together. Also, full strength is 4 tsp/gal, or 1 tsp/liter or quart [of each]. You'll get 100% coverage if you cover the root ball/medium, and dunk the foliage in it. If you didn't read the [short] label, you wouldn't know about the talc carrier. Surprising that you didn't clog your sprayer. Good luck. -granger

Let the solution settle before applying it. Skim the solution from the top and you will have much less of the talc on your leaves after the tea dries.

good luck man

Neen is antifungal, and will be counterproductive if using OGBIOWAR.

Mosquito dunks? The strain of bacillus in mosquito dunks are harmful to fungus knats I have never, ever heard of anyone treating mites with it. Think your mistaken bacteria my man

Also I do believe ogbiowar has some of the same bacteria in it but that's not the one effective against mites there's others

The last batch I bought from caps does not do much for spider mites. It has always worked well for me in the past, don't know whether these are super mites and thrips or just a bad batch of caps???

Anyone noticed a mold/mildew smell while using the Root Pack? Hoping it's the Biowar and not mold/mildew on my coco, dont want to have to redo it.

I read up a lot about this stuff. I think it was mentioned in the broad mite thread to get the RH up to 60%... I got the Foliar pack and was thinking about using for a dunk with new cuts?
Hope it works! Really don't want to go nuclear!
